If you are hungry for authentic Mexican food in the Burlington area, look no further than Lindo Mexico! Maria has spent the last 27 years with her family creating a warm, welcoming environment, with food that doesn’t disappoint. I had their Shrimp in garlic butter dish with a side of rice and refried beans. Not only were the shrimp cooked perfectly, but the seasoning was on point. The beans are always rich and creamy, and the produce is fresh. Not to mention they have some of the most refreshing orchata out there. This is a place you do not want to miss if you find yourself in the Burlington area. I highly recommend!

Excellent food, great service. A jewel in downtown Burlington. I like Mexican food and this was great. I had the enchiladas verda. You have to try the hot sauce which is different than the salsa that comes with the chips. It is hotter, and so good. The waitress seeing me eating the sauce on my chips said it was going to kill me I replied at least I will die happy. Great food. They do not take payment with a credit card, so bring cash. I have seen reviews saying it was not authentic. Let me say there is no such thing as authentic. You either like the food or you don’t. And I liked it very much. I gave it 4 stars just because I was truly surprised to find good Mexican food in Burlington Iowa.
