I stopped in from the coast for some camping nearby and wandered into Cornish for Brunch on Memorial Day Weekend. I was not disappointed. Everyone of the staff was smiling, happy, provided answers to questions regarding food and drink and if they didn’t have them they went and got them.

Beautiful Inn spot surrounded by old New England historic building charm. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is great- I recommend the Cornish Bennie, and don’t miss out on the mimosa flight- it’s so good! The atmosphere is light and beautiful and they have a lovely wrap around porch.

The food here is outstanding. The menu changes often and is interesting and different and seasonal. Normally I go for breakfast or brunch but the last time I was there they were open in the evening for a special Cinco de Mayo meal. My regular meal when I go is a berry salad with grilled cornbread, french toast, or the charcuterie board. I only gave the atmosphere three stars because, being such a great restaurant it’s almost always full and people are so happy about being there that they’re always talking and it ends up being pretty loud in there! There are seats on the porch but you want to make sure they’re at a time where the sun won’t be hitting you.

Lindsay’s Kitchen is a staple if you are in Cornish, ME. There is also an inn upstairs if you decide to stay in town. The portion sizes are perfect in relation to price! The quality of the food was amazing and it was all fresh! I would recommend this eatery to anyone that is visiting Maine.

Only experience is two Sunday breakfasts. Excellent food and service, but they never have any specials when we go and staff always apologizes about it. What gives? Another minor nitpick is the toast is not toasted enough at times. Too doughy inside. We will ask for it extra crispy next time. I also really think that a restaurant in Maine should NOT charge for real maple syrup. That’s like being charged for bread and all the other similar silly things restaurant owners do that irritate customers. HINT: adjust prices across whole menu and bury these TINY extra costs. The menu price increases will be de minimis and you will increase satisfaction and the number of repeat customers. Also remember your major costs are labor and overhead (utilities, rent, mortgage or loans on kitchen gear, etc.) and NOT ingredients like maple syrup. Do the math and do the right thing and don’t just follow the crowd on this. Other than these few things it’s a great place

Have been there for both lunch and breakfast and was not disappointed either time. The food is incredibly flavorful and fresh. The biscuits and gravy are amazing! My wife’s raisin toast was delicious as were the potato pancakes. Definitely a must visit destination.

Excellent spot for breakfast on the porch! There was a bit of truck traffic to listen to, but the food is fantastic. Try the pancakes, they don’t disappoint! The staff is pleasant and helpful. This is our favorite breakfast spot in Cornish.

We got breakfast to go and enjoyed on a park bench with our pooch. Our group had bourbon chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and Irish eggs benedict. Top tier breakfast! Will definitely check this place out again on our next visit ☺️
