Great people, great food, great drinks, and great atmosphere! What more could you ask for? A favorite among Boise’s locals, this bar and restaurant features a full dinner menu of American steaks and burgers. But if you want to grab a light lunch, their bar menu is just the thing to hit the spot. The digital jukebox has thousands among thousands of songs to fit your mood too. Stop by and have a drink. You’ll be glad that you did.

The waitress was nice. Food was OK. I was excited to eat the ribs however they were tough. My wife’s pork was a bit tough also. If you like your meat cooked well done you will like it. Love their onion rings and fries. They have give you a little loaf of bread which was yummy. Very quaint place to go. If you want the dining experience make sure you go in the correct door. Overall not a bad experience but not the best either.

Lindy’s is right behind our hotel. It was lunch dining, it is truly a guys type lunch place. Only one lady to do bar drinks, give us menu’s, gave us fountain drinks, but, took a bit longer for her to take our order. Food was very good & plentiful.

I ordered Lindy’s finger steaks for take-out before 6 PM on Saturday night. After I paid for my order, the waitress told me that it would take about 25 minutes to have my order ready. So I went out for a walk and came back after 25 minutes. The waitress told me that the cook was still working on the food. After waiting for another 25 minutes, I asked the waitress when I can get my food. The waitress said that the restaurant has a new cook and there are a lot of orders, which caused the long wait. She apologized and told me that the restaurant would provide free dessert as compensation. After waiting for another 7 minutes, I finally got my order and stormed out of the restaurant. Why was I so angry? Because I saw a couple who ordered their food after me almost finished their plates. After I got back in my car, I checked the food. Guess what? I ordered onion rings but got French fries. And no dessert at all. After waiting for 57 minutes while being hungry, my Saturday mood was completely ruined by such a bad experience at Lindy. One star is the best score I can give to this restaurant, and I will never go back to Lindy.

The BEST finger steaks in town! Lounge atmosphere. Low lighting, zero smoking, wonderful staff, can hold a conversation with your table partners (6) without shouting. I will be going back. Thank you brother Dave for your recommendation

Lindy’s has been around for as long as I can remember and it’s stayed true to how they’ve always been. The food and drinks are good and the portion sizes are plenty for any appetite. The food is a little on the pricey side but at least it’s tasty! The bar games are a little crowded but not an issue unless they’re packed. They have pool, shuffleboard, and Golden Tee to play while you work on your drink. Not a bad spot to hang out! The finger steaks and fish and chips are easily some of the best in the valley!

We eat lunch at Lindy’s as a car club group of at least 15 every week…sometimes as many as 30 in attendance..Bob, Kristian, Shelby and Lance always give us consistent service, excellent food, and more than competitive pricing.
