Third time eating here – Highly recommended!! It was a wonderful culinary evening with my family. Every single dish was delicious, absolutely blew my mind with flavors and unforgettable presentations! A warm atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and excellent sommelier helped us choose right wine parings for our meals. We definitely will be back and next time we will try the tasting menu for more of the chef’s experience!

This restaurant is incredible! The food was amazing, each and every one of the dishes. The focaccia, mushroom, beet salad, and a MUST is the Boniato Pelmeni. Also Anthony was an amazing server! Must come.

We definitely had an Epic Experience at this restaurant. EVERYTHING WE WERE MISSING lN MIAMI. All the menu is based on hand-selected, seasonal ingredients.

The food is simply an explosion to all 5 senses. We experienced flavors that we had never tasted in other “farm-to-table” restaurants. Truly, the chef’s creations are the product of a unique creative capacity.

Definitely not worth $155 a person with tax and tip. The entire experience felt cheap and as if it was a cafeteria trying to plate random things. The dishes were uninspired, lacked a theme and cohesion, and everything was on low end cafeteria plates. The only dish that felt worth of this price was the steak, which was a small slice of meat. The tuna was a sweet mess of fruit. Expect to leave hungry. The ambience was not impressive, and they were blaring loud rap music the entire dinner. The music choices were ok, but the volume and the tone didn’t match the food. Service was attentive and they did a decent job explaining the food (note: why they get 2 stars), but how they present food and using plastic water bottles once again doesn’t make sense for this price point. Finally, the restaurant was basically empty and neither the GM nor the chef made any attempt to say hello to us and make us feel welcome or appreciated for taking a chance on a brand new high end neighborhood restaurant. I wouldn’t spend this type of money on this place.

Highly recommended! Great space –especially the extensive windows– lovely staff, and the owner-chef Michael’s visit to the table was both friendly and very educational. Every single item was delicious, though the stand-outs (like, blowing us away with unexpected/layered flavors) were the mushrooms, the boniato, the steak, and the sunchoke ice cream. The angelina cocktail with its foamy egg-white head was also pretty special. They take food, each ingredient, and every combination, VERY seriously here, and yet it was also a celebration. So! Can you tell I enjoyed it?

An eclectic menu, with chef’s selections served daily. They churn their own butter, and make sourdough from scratch. The lively kitchen overlooks the quaint modern space. Everything was prepared to order and was presented to us with a description prior to serving. A hidden gem for sure.

Lion and The Rambler has something special going on. The food shows culinary expertise while containing the comfort of a home cooked meal. The staff all display a sense of warmth and it is evident that they genuinely care about each of their guests who are dinning. The wine selection consists of natural wines, and as a sommelier I can tell they were carefully selected and each have a story to tell that coincides with the theme of the restaurant. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife and I can see the effort they’ve combined to make it special from the moment you walk in, till you have your very last bite. People from Miami may still be unfamiliar with this style of hospitality but to my friends at Lion and The Rambler, know that what you are doing is beneficial to the future food scene in Miami.
