The recipe for our famous roast beef sandwich is simple: 100% real top round beef. Slow roasted on-site for three hours. Shaved extra thin. Served medium rare on a lightly toasted buttered bun. And topped with a dash of secret seasoning. It’s the same way we’ve done it for over 50 years. As real as it gets.

Read whole post please: I love LC. Have been eating there since I could drive. Over 40 years. I was happy when this one was built. Typically LC Roast Beef is the bomb and makes Arby’s look like rubber. Tonight the wife and I went. The meal was two meals and I got an extra king beef. It was $36. That is what it is. The service was very good. The staff was friendly and we got our food fast. The place was basically pretty clean. The ketchup dispenser was a mess but it was not working right. Not a big deal. My issue was the food itself tonight. I ordered two king beefs. There is a picture of what they show. I know you never get what is in the picture, but at LC you usually get a nice thick Sammy. Look at the picture of what I received. That was roast beef mush with the amount of “meat” I would expect on a regular sandwich. Trust me I have ordered my fair share and know what I should have gotten. The buns did not have sesame seeds as they usually do. I think they bought hamburger buns from the grocery store. The bun was wet and soggy. Pretty gross. Then when I was eating the fries they were the same. I did not feel like saying anything would help or change anything. I also don’t like complaining because I am not a freeloader looking for some discount. Be aware at this location. You may not be getting what you pay for. I will try another location in the next few weeks and see if it is an LC thing and they are heading the way of Steak N Shake or is it just the one by my house. I am hopeful they are not going backwards because I really like the old school LC.

I always feel bad leaving a less then stellar review but on multiple occasions this place has been not the best experience. I have been multiple times now and the food is always good enough, but it always takes a minute or two for someone to even come up to the register to take an order (it might be easier to just order online if I ever go again). When we came in it took a few minutes for someone to come to the register and there was an employee with their head down in the dining area- understanding they may have been on break I didn’t think of anything till they took a drive through order on a headset from the dining area- Once we got our order taken we got the food pretty quickly. Overall I know that this location used to have a lot better service and experience which is to bad because I grew up on lions choice as a kid and loved it- but the food was good the experience just left more to be desired.

1st time hearing of and trying Lion’s Choice. I was really impressed by this roast beef fast food chain based out of St Louis. I really enjoyed the Au Jus station with different peppers and sauces. I love free banana peppers. The sandwich was quick and tasty. The fry seasoning was great. I will definitely have it again next time I swing through the St Louis area.

Got the basic roast beef. Turns out I got enough food to feed a toddler. The sandwich has less than a slice of roast beef on it. Medium fries came with. Paid $12 and this is what I get. First and last time coming to lions choice.

Not to happy with it. When I ask for some cheese on my Sandwich I don’t want it make into a sloppy mess. It didn’t even taste that well cooked. I can’t even hold it without cheese dripping everywhere. Fries were also pretty cold. I would get the $10 back for this. Not good at all.

Came in this afternoon for lunch after my last experience wasn’t very good. The manager told me to let her know next time I came in so she could take care of the meal. This time around it was a lot better. I appreciate managements willingness to make things right when food and service have previously fallen short. In my opinion that’s how you keep customers. I really like Lions Choice and hope this location continues to improve.

Came through and ordered food around 930 this evening. Girl working the drive through was totally rude, got fries that were completely rock hard like they had literally been made yesterday. If you can’t handle this easy, air conditioned fast food job go work somewhere else. Just got off of a 12 hour shift in the heat and was hoping to grab a quick bite to eat. What I got was treated rudely and inedible food. This is the worst Lions Choice location.

Do not order for delivery or pick up. Order when there. Fries were old and cold. Concrete was a milk shake. Food was not good at this location. They make the food and just let it sit or something. No way my concrete should have been that melted and fries that cold.

Drive-through staff was rude. The store was out of several items on their menu. French Fries were over-cooked, hard, and no longer hot. The roast beef was not hot, and the meat was tough. Waste of money.
