We absolutely enjoyed our anniversary dinner here last night. We live in Corpus and called around 12;30 to make dinner reservations. I received a call back promptly and was told they only had reservations at the bar available. We had our 10 year old daughter with us and they said it was fine and more of a family friendly environment. We started with the goat cheese dip and the mermaid soup which were both delicious. My husband ordered the steak and I ordered the scallops. Both were heavenly. I especially enjoyed the shrimp on his plate. Amazing flavor, and the scallops were huge. The only downside was that their oral children’s menu didn’t have anything my daughter likes, so we just ordered her garlic bread. Looking forward to going back again soon!

This place had AMAZING food! Elevated flavors with that classic fresh seafood that you may be craving. I highly recommend the mermaid soup, exquisite! For dinner, we had scallops and the seafood enchiladas …it was all amazing. So very good! My scallops were the biggest I’ve ever seen, and they melted in my mouth! I’ll be remember this meal for a long time!

We recently held a Dress Rehearsal dinner at Lisabella’s and it could not have been a better experience. We arrived early, but the table was set and our drinks and appetizers were served almost immediately. Our servers were pleasant and efficient and the food could not have been better! It was a wonderful time all around and I highly recommend them for any special event! We will be going back just for the fun of it!

The reason I’m even giving the 3 stars is because the goat cheese was just so good. Otherwise, the main entrees were horribly overpriced and terrible. The service was delayed and guy working the bar was rude and overwhelmed even during off peak hours. The garlic bread was delicious but my filet was not. Not sure what all the buzz is about

Man, did we want our experience to be different. We have tried three different times at Lisabella’s and each time has been a disappointment. The first time we thought it was because they sat us at the bar with a baby. The second time, we thought it was because we had a stressed out day with a toddler who then came to dinner (service was incredibly slow that time and our patience was thin). Then tonight, we had mediocre food and service. We though the third visit going solo without the kiddos was going to be the charm. Service was incredibly slow and our food was disappointing. I order the enchiladas (remembering the first time that they were good, but service was terrible so I took them to go). Tonight, the food fell far short. I don’t send food back, but I sent this back. The enchiladas felt like they had been under the heat lamp for an extended period of time–the cheese seemed hardened and the tortillas couldn’t be cut with a fork. So very disappointing. We’ve tried three times and each time, it was a disappointment. This time I’m realizing it’s them, not us.

It’s a nice place but very pricy for just okay execution. Out of a lot of menu items, short staffed, the flavors were not great. The mermaid soup and the goat cheese appetizer were very good. For the prices they are asking you should expect much more.

Kids, It’s time we had a little talk. I understand seeing accomplished folks drinking and carrying on like money is an endless summer can be a source of envy. You’ll get there, your enrolled in a great school and believe it or not you might make these boomers look like chumps some day. But for now you need to buckle down and tighten the belt. Making reservations at a $100 bottle place like this isn’t going to impress your date. Pick up a guitar and learn how to sing! That will get you into bed as quick as any show of “class” you think spending money you got from your folks might accomplish. Listen to me! If that foolery does interest her…..run!

CALL AHEAD, MAKE RESERVATIONS. we did not because we didn’t know. The ferry ride across didn’t take long, no cost. Easy to get to restaurant, jus follow your GPS. Beautiful setting. Here some pics of the view outside the restaurant.

When you’re staying at Cinnamon Shore for a relaxing getaway, this restaurant is a must for dinner. Their menu is primarily seafood, with some steak and quail thrown in as well.
