Voted “best Italian cold cut” by many, I had to try it to see if it lived up to the hype. It does!! Crusty, thick bread and the toppings are smothered perfectly together with the deli meat and cheese. Be warned that hots do make it pretty spicy if you want everything on it.

The Italian cold cut sub is my favorite. The sub is stuffed! Takes two hands to keep it held together. All the other offerings are tasty too. As a Harford County native I grew up with Sam’s Delicatessen at my doorstep, truly believing that they offered the best Italian cold cut sub in Maryland. Now don’t get me wrong, it’a amazing and should be experienced by all, but today I stumbled across Lisa’s Deli while in the area and ordered an Italian cold cut with everything and my life has changed. Upon the first bite, I felt an overwhelming sense of euphoria stemming from my tastebuds and spread throughout my whole body. The flavor, the meat to bread to fixings ratio, the bread itself, all perfection. I’m not ashamed to say that I cried in my car in the parking lot. Happy tears. I will be telling everyone I see for the rest of the week just how amazing that sub was regardless of if they asked or not. I plan on visiting many more times in the future, very worth the gas and toll cost. Thank you for changing my life.

Best Italian hoagie I’ve ever had! I tried Lisa’s today for the first time and even though they were super busy, Lisa was so kind and my sandwich was delicious! We also had the turkey club which was also great. I will be back many times!
