Stopped by this cute little diner for lunch. We had the pork loin sandwich with fresh cut fair style fries and homemade deep fried mushrooms. Delicious must try the homemade mushrooms, won’t be disappointed.

Went to the small country eating establishment on 2/24/23. Had to go to a counter, order your food and find a place to sit if a seat is available. Ordered food and it was brought out in about 20 minutes. We had footlong chili dogs with chili, onions and asked for Cole slaw on top. We also had fries. Being lent we heard a lot of people ordering fish type meals. We heard I think was the owner or manager of the small eatery say when someone asked her if she thought more Cole slaw should be made. She said no, it is about 5pm now and I don’t want any made because I don’t want it to go to waste. There was hours left for the place to be open. How long does it take to make Cole slaw to order, one minute. A lot of people did not get what they actually wanted because of this decision. Back to our food, it was OK, the weiners were grilled, bun was grilled and chili sauce was OK. Fries were OK. We decided to go to the establishment again on a Monday, three days later to give it another try. Can you believe it they were still out of Cole slaw. We got our chili dogs with chili and onions. The bun was not grilled and the weiners did not seem to be grilled very long at all. The bun did not seem fresh and the bottom of the buns did not have a bottom, the bun was split in half and the weiners wanted to drop out. Hard to eat that way. The fries were awful, they were limp, greasy and some had a grayish hue to them. We gave our opinion and showed a worker our fries and she said she was sorry and tried to give an unacceptable excuse. We tried this establishment twice and then wrote this review. Did I mention that the employees hovered around where people ordered food and were very loud and outspoken. Not professional in my opinion. We will not be going back. They have a pay your money up front and see what you get attitude and do not put customers and their food wants as their top priority.

Small diner in the middle of town. Clean, friendly staff. I don’t know that it fits the definition of a diner, more along the lines of a Dairy Queen,or Dairy hut. The food was good, and the service as well. I will be going back. The foot long coney, was delicious.
