This place is wonderful and I wish I could eat here everyday!! I got the shrimp and grits and it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten! I’m Southern born and raised and this restaurant has the best shrimp and grits! The restaurant is so cute and so clean! The service was super quick! I will definitely be back!

Food is okay, their service is not the best. It’s my second time eating here, first time we went with a big group. They got almost all orders wrong, never took orders from some of the guests. Food took forever to arrive and they made a lot of mistakes. Second time we went for appetizers, we asked for the check, everything looked good, we gave the credit card, she came back with the receipt and we noticed she charged an extra item. Long story short, we had to get the extra item because they didn’t know how to reverse the transaction. We will not be back. Very disorganized place.

My wife and I stopped randomly to try it, we got the Cajun fries to share and she got the fried chicken with a side of gumbo and I got the shrimp etouffee with a side of gumbo and it was delicious, I don’t why someone would come on here and complain and leave a 1 star review on a small local restaurant, I have a feeling someone just likes to complain. The food and staff were wonderful. We met Gerald the head chef and he came out and talked to us and gave us some of his backstory, this place was just upstanding .

The experience was terrible. Planned to eat there for the first time for my parent’s anniversary. Terrible idea on my part. I trusted reviews and was immensely disappointed. Arrived before any customers yet still didn’t receive our orders together when other customers began to show. Prior to the rush, we were neglected and had to wave the waitress for drink service and silverware. When the food arrived (only half of the table’s order), half were the the wrong order (belonged to another table that arrived twenty minutes after us). One of the kid’s meals never arrived. Parents were upset, so we left to eat elsewhere. We paid the mediocre meals that did arrive (5 plates equalling about $90). Do not recommend. They need to work on basic customer service skills, have a better means of expediting orders, and some form of organization to seating and taking orders.

Went there today for lunch. First, their hours of operation has changed. They do not close btwn lunch and dinner. Second, don’t expect Cajun music. Maybe they will change it for the atmospheric experience. Country is my jam but not in a “French Quarter” cuis8n experience. Really throws the whole vibe off.

Got the red beans and rice, it was ok, nothing great. $11 is a bit much for rice and beans. But the “bread pudding” was not good. It’s like it was made by someone who’s never seen bread pudding. It was just toast with Hershey’s sauce. No part of it was anything approaching pudding.

Waitress was so sweet! My boyfriends meal and mine were phenomenal!! Try the feast fries with Mac n cheese on top. It’s FREAKING AMAZING! Our first time here and we are definitely coming back!
