This food was excellent, I’m so happy I found this place. Really large portions. It’s a family run business it seems. Good customer service

First time eating there. I really loved seeing the young ladies working and the way the Sister came out to teach her was so dope. The food was excellent. Hawaiian Fried wings, collards,Mac and cheese, and yams so fulfilling. You guys rock. I will be back real soon.

This is a small local restaurant that serves Soul food. You can eat in, use the take-out counter service or call-in pick-up service. I had a negative experience on my first (& last) visit. There is no air conditioning provided and I began to sweat during the 10 minutes I spent waiting in line at the take-out counter. The woman preparing the orders was smiling, working quickly and having friendly conversations with each customer in line whom all appeared to be regulars. I was next in line and she abruptly frowned and snapped at me “What can I getcha?!” I had planned to order a dinner and dessert but due to her attitude and tone, I asked for dessert only and was charged $5.00 (Dessert prices are not posted) for a small container of banana pudding which tasted just “ok” and had a very mushy texture. I will not ever return here.

I failed to look at what time they opened and waited 2 hours in my car for them to open up at 2.

This is by far the worst establishment I’ve ever been too. I don’t even know where to start. I placed an order for a shrimp platter and arrived there a few moments later. As soon as I got there the front desk boy charged me $1 for a mask and demanded that I put it on. The cooks in the back had no mask on and were talking all over the food, so I asked him about it and he got an attitude with me and refused to answer. After paying for my food the boy accused me of stealing a drink that wasn’t even sold at the store. I am an advocate for supporting black businesses but the level of unprofessionalism is bizarre!! As for the food, I would give it 2/10. Mac & cheese was bland and there’s nothing special about the fried shrimp. Avoid this place at all cost! You’re better off starving yourself.
