Confused by the negative ratings. Ordered the catfish and shrimp combo with Mac and cheese and potato salad. Subbed hush puppies for toast. Everything was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked. The sides were on point. Disregard the negative press. This place slaps.

The pork has the texture and taste of a pork roast either boiled or cooked in a pressure cooker. I even asked the staff how the meat was cooked and was told, “in a smoker”. Neither of us would have known otherwise.

The 2 young girls working in the front on the weekends are very incompetent. I visited 2 days in a row and BOTH times they got my order wrong after being on the phone for at least 10 minutes and repeating my order multiple times.. literally 10 minutes.. the food is great however the service has very much declined.

My cousin bought me a birthday plate from Little Dooey in September, ribs super tender fast forward to November and I bought a super combo and a catfish combo plate; the “I’m not cooking pre thanksgiving food” take a gander the super combo didn’t make it dooey done it !

Have you ever had ribs so overcooked that you could easily push your finger through the bones? I suspect cooked isn’t really correct. They were probably in a warmer for days. I’ve eaten bbq all over the country, and really only expected average. But what I got was below gas station quality. The burger was on par with what you get at a high school ball game. Well, cross that one off the list.
