Can’t speak highly enough about this small, family-owned and operated place. The food was authentic and every appetizer and entree item we ordered was excellent. Our server was super cordial. The owner came out and greeted us. The inside dining area was quiet and comfortable.

We are so lucky to have this little restaurant and grocery right up the street. The food has always been fresh and delicious, and it’s nice to have a decent selection of south Asian spices, snacks, and grocery items. My only complaint is that they frequently run out of mango lassi!

I love the food from Little Haveli and find it to be the best in Rutland. The people who work there are always kind and friendly and the food has always been delicious. The prices are very reasonable. I adore the vegetable pakoras which are best enjoyed on site considering they come straight out of the oven. The portions are reasonable, I rarely have left overs and if I do they are perfect reheated the next day. Don’t expect a conventional restaurant set up, this little store and kitchen have seating and are slowly expanding so be patient and understanding.

I really like Indian food, but this is the worst I’ve ever had. Bland watery soup, like Progresso. Also, small portion size. I added one star for the sustainable rice containers, but they also packaged dishes with styrofoam and plastic which is unfortunate.

I was so disappointed, when after checking the website, and then driving 2 hrs, to find it was not open. There were three of us and not only did we were not able to eat, we also were not able to shop for ingredients. Too bad. I know the food is good because I have been there before.
