I ordered a large plain steak sub which was very good. Cooked to perfection and tasty. The fries tasted good and the portion was a good value. The size of the fried were “short ” in stature but still tasty. The cheese pizza was good but a little under cooked for my taste. The crust was soft but that’s how most people from Delaware like it. Next time I will order it crispy. I called my order in and it was ready when I got there. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend LIP! -Glen

Stopped in for our first time tonight and we were so impressed by the excellent value and awesome pizza! Also had delicious fries. It’s the perfect place to stop for delicious food without spending a ton and great spot for kids (we had our toddler). We’ll be back!

This place has that old pizza palor feel, The owner is very professional, hospitable, and very Kind, he takes pride in his work, as well, his time! preparing tomato pies the old traditional way. He makes Custom order Pizza’s just the way you like Them! His cheese Steaks are Delicious they have a cheese steak in a platter with fries for $7.50 no where else in Delaware can you get that!!!! Amazing little shop with standard menu options. Great service. Always on time. Food is excellent. My kids prefer the boneless wings without sauce over the chicken tenders. Have ordered cheesesteak, Italian sub, pizza, mozzarella sticks, fries, chicken tenders, boneless wings, regular wings.

A very well deserved 4.7 on google maps. Anthony wanted me to try the pizza. Cheesesteak Adventure, HELLO! I got the PINO, a cheesesteak with Sauce. I am glad I got to taste the sauce. The sauce is pretty freaking tasty. This was a nice ‘controlled mess’ of a cheesesteak. Cheese and sauce chopped thru perfectly. The PINO came with peppers. I don’t think I would have liked the peppers without the sauce. Definitely going back for the Pizza

This is my second time eating there. My first one was simply for myself for lunch and I got the cheesesteak special. It was very good but nothing I would say is the best. For the second trip I took my family to dine in. We ordered the pizza. I was very impressed with the pizza. This may be my number one choice now for pizza. The wife thought one of our other places was better but that it was still a very good pizza. She likes to have leftovers and as much as she said it was not her favorite we ended up with a medium pizza to take home as well. My favorite part about this place is the price point. While the pizza was not too far off of the average it was definitely not a high price pizza although the quality was. But the other food on the menu is very reasonably priced. A lot of places have gone to a one-size-fits-all cheesesteak. I’m not a fan of the super large cheesesteaks. Not only do they offer two sizes, both sizes we’re under $10 something I haven’t seen lately. The staff was very welcoming as well. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing close to a great day in Delaware! By google search I was lucky enough to find this tiny corner of heaven in New Castle County, DE. I never even heard of Townsend DE. I was greeted by a smiling young lady who got my complex order correct on first try! I ordered the burger special. It was a colossal hand-made burger with practically any accoutrement one could imagine. I ordered it with well-done fries. It arrived cooked perfectly and the fries were exquisite. I chatted with the owner Anthony while waiting. I was amazed at the quality and portion size especially in today’s outrageous food cost inflation. I only wish I lived closer. I can not wait to go back to sample the pizza. It looked divine — perfect thin crust, just the way I love it. Based on the fact that I could not consume my entire meal due to its generous portion size, even a slice of pizza during this trip was out of the question. If you are a local, lucky you. If you are driving through DE, this little slice of heaven is absolutely worth a stop.

I get this place almost everyday on my lunch break and I’m impressed. They always have great specials. The pizza is really good. The burgers taste like they are hand made, not the frozen patties at every other pizza place. And the chocolate cake is really good and moist too like they just made it the same day. Not to mention, their prices are better than any other place around. Can’t beat it. Would definitely recommend.
