Tonight I had an outstanding chirashi sushi from Little Japan – one of the best I’ve had in a long time. A great variety of very fresh fish, prepared perfectly – including some of the tastiest spicy tuna I’ve had. And my wife really enjoyed her chicken Pad Thai.

2nd time I’ve been to this place with my husband. We were barely greeted. The rolls were not put on well together every time you will grab one it will fall apart; the soup was warm. When seating there other customers came in and they were greeted so pleasantly. My husband grabbed the last piece of sushi and waiter took the plate without him finishing. The check came in We paid and not a thank you. We will not be coming back to this place. They need to work on new customers relationships to keep them coming back.

Why did this place go so bad. Last two times we had takeout my wife and I threw it away. Should of went back last night but we are not so close. Salad was old and ginger dressing was all water no ginger. My rainbow roll had so little sushi across top and tasted and smelled fishy. It had all white fish, tiny piece or two of suns and no salmons. The whole roll was small. The last thing you want at a sushi restaurant. My wife dragon roll was similar. We had same experience last time but gave them one more try. Prior to these visits we were a 1-4 times a month customer. Even the person that gave me the took the order and gave me my order had a-little edge almost rude. I see few comments about her in reviews. Good luck but will not attempt again.

My wife didnt care for the volcano roll and our server was very kind and attentive my wife asked for the shrimp curry as a substitute meal and it was was brought to our table very promptly. Our server did not charge for the volcano roll. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Read a few reviews and decided to give this place a try. Definitely glad I did. This is not some overdone fancy Asian fusion restaurant. This is an old school Japanese restaurant with great cooked food as well as excellent sushi and sashimi. Everything was well prepared and the fish was fresh and cut correctly. Add in the fact that the prices are more than reasonable and it’s a no brainer. Will definitely be going there often.
