Got the combo carne asada plate. Somewhat hard to order, the older gentleman taking my order seemed to have trouble hearing over the noise of the TVs. No pico or other salsa came with the plate so make sure to ask for some – I didn’t get any.

I’m new to the area, this has become my go-to place for Mexican fast food. They have a picture board menu that helped me a lot. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The chicken and carnitas quesadillas we ordered were absolutely delicious and not greasy or overly spicy. The Horchata was tasty but could have used straining; sipping pieces of rice and spices was not enjoyable but easily remedied by keeping straw away from cup’s bottom. I highly recommend this nicely furnished/decorated little place with lovely ambiance next to a laundromat.

Ask for extra nacho cheese on my carne asada fries, and they didn’t even put one little drop of nacho cheese. They even charge me for extra un happy with the service. Called them and they couldn’t even replace them today, they said to go back tomorrow.

Customer service is great, manager remembers me and my orders, food is always fresh, hot, and tasty. Prices are better than the competition, and taste is comparable. The street tacos are great, and the food is served very quickly.

Hands down the best Mexican food spot in North County San Diego. From the al pastor, asada, and carnitas tacos to the Cali burritos the meat, tortillas, and ingredients are always fresh! The restaurant is always clean and the service is great. If you love spicy, you must try their secret green salsa 10/10! Additionally, they do party catering and we had them for my sisters birthday. The service was amazing, pricing was very good, and all my guests loved it! I got so many compliments about them. I recently moved further away and I still commute about 40 minutes when I am craving Mexican food.

I like this place, unfortunately it’s not as good as the place that was here before it. Prices have gone up and flavor has gone down. And they tried to charge for a glass of water with your meal, which I’m pretty sure is illegal in CA. I had a burrito, brother had a torta both were good. I’m not making a special trip to go back, but if you’re in the area, it’s a safe spot to get a good meal. More taco choices than your average Alberto’s type taco shop.

They do not like to clean their shrimp properly, I confronted the manager and he said that I would be ok. But I did get sick. They are trashy people, for taking every ones money for their cheap overpriced food.

The carnitas plate was very tasty. The meat was not too dry and the salsas were actually spicy which I enjoyed. The only thing that I could be picky about is the tortillas being hard even though they were warmed up as if not too fresh. This new restaurant has good potential and just needs to make some minor adjustments for the quarantine like a website menu with prices
