Food is on point, customer service has always been awesome. Taking one star for their interpretation of gyudon, it’s definitely not traditional. Instead of thin sliced beef and onions in a savory sweet sauce you get thick sliced beef with not so tender onions and a sauce that can only be be described as A1 steak sauce. To their credit the beef was perfectly cooked and tender.

end my suffering
i went here with my partner last month and haven’t been able to stop thinking abt it. i don’t live in abilene and don’t know much abt a lot of local restaurants, but they’d heard that this place was good and had never had real ramen before, so we decided to stop in! the ramen was incredibly good – possibly the best ive ever had in a restaurant, even above a few dedicated ramen spots ive been to in north texas and in austin! the shrimp tempura rolls are lovely, and the mango adds suuuuch a nice bit of sweetness! the miso soup was also fantastic; as someone who doesn’t eat tofu very often, this tofu was soft and velvety and the broth was a perfect palate cleanser. the gyoza was also REALLY good – can’t stress enough that there wasn’t anything we tried that we didn’t love! you can place your order on little kiosks as well, which makes ordering super simple. food came out really quickly and the staff was so nice!! definitely recommend and will HAVE to stop back by the next time i come out that way!!!!

This place use to be my favorite. They had the best ramen in Abilene until a year ago. I had order some food and it just didn’t taste fresh & good like before. I also noticed there was a different cook so I just figured maybe the regular cook was off that day. Well I give them another try and same thing, the food was not as good as before so we stopped eating there for a year or so. Well today I ordered our favorite ramens and we could not even finish them because it did not taste good at all. The meat was ok but all the rest was nasty and even my kids said their ramens tasted weird and they did not finish it. Not sure what changed but we are very disappointed.

the food and everything is good, but the service sucks. me and my sister wanted to go here to get lunch together but the door was locked, it was open and people were inside eating. We called and they didnt want to open the door for us instead asking us if we wanted to still place an order.. when we wanted to eat inside.
