It is our third time since we really like this place but today is just so bad. What’s the point of joining the Yelp list if you will not honor it? We were second on the list and there is this table that they cleaned and we were hoping it will be ours. We waited for 15 minutes and this clean table is still empty and so many people waiting outside. I asked the lady Bianca and showed her that we are second on the list and that should be our table. She respond with, “Give us ten minutes and we still figuring out the tables.” Another 10 minutes passed, she seated this four people group after us and we’re still waiting so my friend approached her and asked her if we can get that table (we’ve been waiting for an hour). We showed her that we are second but on her iPad, we are on the sixth. How is that possible? They should have a paper and pen to write our names instead of using Yelp so they can better serve their customers. I don’t think I’m coming back to this place after this incident.

We had a great experience at Little Sakana. Dennis our server was super nice and helpful with our orders. We did AYCE and we should it was worth it. Definitely left super super full but felt like we got the moneys worth. I’d suggest not to do the AYCE since it is a lot of food so maybe doing a La carte might be easier unless you’re up for the challenge.

Came in with the family around 2 pm. All you can eat was 28.99 and the children were 9.99 with a variety of appetizer and sushi options. Everything came out relatively quick and seemed fresh. Favorite definitely was the Star Wars roll !

When you get there, you sign in on the tablet to put yourself on the waitlist. Your entire party needs to be there in order to get seated or else you’ll get bumped.

I was really eager to try this place as I had seen it going to the movie theater several times. When you 1st walk into this place it has a much more modern feel to it. You can sit inside or outside there are plenty of tables although there was a good 20 min wait time. It is an all you can eat place but they also charge a waste fee so if you waste food they will charge you for it. They did mess up my order a few times and One of the orders I had never arrived until the very end of the meal. The food was all right I’ve had better in several places but not bad. One of the best items that I got to try was the Furikake Fries. So I had 2 negative things about this place they messed up my order and also I seen a waiter drop some to go boxes look to see if anyone noticed then picked it up and gave it to the customer without getting new ones.

Absolutely delicious sushi with a fun twist. Ordered the sushi by plate and got the lemon rolls and deep fried Cali rolls. 10/10 recommend.

This is my first time ever going to a Sushi buffet so I was confused how it worked. For an all you can eat sushi buffet this place was pretty good. You can only order 2 rolls at a time but it did take a while for us to recieve our oder so go ahead and order your next rolls when you recieve your 1st order because by the time you finish eating the 2 rolls you’ll still be waiting for your next order. Love that they do make it fresh and its not pre-made sitting on the counter drying up. $30 sounds a bit pricey but it’s definitely worth it. If I’m having a sushi crave I would definitely come back here to have my fill. Oh be warned that there is a waste fee so if you don’t finish your food they will charge you for whatever sushi you can’t finish.

Came in knowing there was an All You Can Eat (AYCE) option on the menu. Everything is made when ordered, baked rolls take extra time. Keep in mind there are Left Over Charges, so make sure your eyes aren’t bigger than your stomach. The servers are very friendly and care about customers, we had an avocado allergy at our table and they did try to honor it, although one roll got passed the team they took care of it quickly. Appertizers are warm and made fresh, sauces are good, sushi was delicious, but come HUNGRY if your here for the AYCE dinner, 2 rolls is more than enough for most. Next time A la cart for us. Thanks for the meal!

I had heard good things about this new restaurant, and I was delighted to confirm that the food was delicious. Little Sakana is one of the few Sushi buffets in San Diego, and they have their menu organized really well. I ordered the Crab Rangoon and the Beef Gyoza for the appetizers (not pictured). They were a nice start to this meal. My friend and I each ordered a couple different rolls Each one had their own unique flavor. My favorite would have to be the Hurricane roll. It has shrimp tempura, crab, avocado, salmon, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. The service was a little slow, but it was to be expected on a Sunday. I wanted to give a shout out to Ryan (I think that was his name). He was not our server; I believe he was a busser. He helped us out when our server disappeared. He really helped us out and made our experience a pleasant one. Thank you. I’ll be back soon!!

Tried several items on the menu. All was good. It was busy and the music was nice and mello, which made for a great atmosphere.
