This place surprised me. The food definitely exceeds the ambience of this small local restaurant. The gravy, naan, butter chicken and even the indo-chinese garlic fried rice was delicious. I might go back for the garlic fried rice(forgot to take a picture). The staff was helpful and friendly

Good find. I wish they could make it a little bit spicy. Even the person I went with didn’t thought it was spicy when she asked for hot. And her level for hot and spicy is very low. But the flavors of the food was good. It felt like it was more home style prepared food than a restaurant. Just so everyone aware we had naan, rice, corn soup, shahi paneer and little spice special chicken. Also there were no corn kettles in the soup which bears the corn name lol.

Nice restaurant, the place looks good as well. We went for a weekend lunch and it was pretty packed. All the dishes were decently good. The chili baji was great but these chilies are way bigger than you think, so go for the cut ones. The fish and spinach rice was decently good and enough quantity for the price. The falooda was just ok, if I have to order again I will skip falooda, I have had really good ones from other places so here it doesn’t worth the price.

What a find!! Great food! Quiet place! Awesome service! Will go back again for the Tandoori fish! Reviews are right about this place and about the tandoori fish! It is is pretty amazing. Lots of herbs, spices in it, one of the best dishes I have had in any Indian restaurant! The spinach rice is the best accompaniment for the fish! I had the samosa too which perfectly fried, fresh and very flavorful. Samosa itself worth a trip back to this place!

Called in a take out order of butter chicken, garlic naan and butter naan. Was advised over the phone that it would be ready in 40 minutes. Got there and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my food. When asked why, workers/owner stated that they were waiting for the naan. As I was waiting, another individual came in and stated that he had also been waiting 50+ minutes for his food. Staff was not at all sympathetic and just kept saying five minutes longer each time I asked.

16 Aug 2022: solo dinner. Masala dosa ($12), Gutti Vankaya Kura (eggplant curry $13), garlic naan+butter naan ($3.49+$2.99). Masala dosa was good, nice coconut chutney and sambhar, peanut chutney was bad, too salty. The eggplant curry was average, also on the saltier side. I asked for lemon to tone down the salt but server forgot and I finished my meal. Garlic naan was pretty good. Staff is ok, not rude but I didn’t feel welcomed either. The ordering at the restaurant is done through phone which makes the interaction with servers weird. Restroom was not super clean, no paper towels. Food is not cheap either. Need to explore their bakery. Good interiors for dine in.

I was in Newark and my usual go to place is the Biryani City but since it was closed for maintenance that day, we researched and found about this restaurant nearby. It’s a decent sized eatery. You scan the QR code at the table and place your order and you will get confirmation on your phone. You get 10% discount if you pay cash. We ordered chicken 65 and chicken biryani. The chicken 65 tasted like chunks of fried chicken and didn’t have the personality or taste of what I was looking for. The biryani was good and aromatic. Service could have been faster. Overall a nice place. A nice no hassle casual dinning to cater to your appetite.
