The only thing “little” about this place is its name!

Atmosphere was unique, you can sit inside or outside. Pretzel sticks were so good. I got the steak frites ordered medium rare more medium well. My husband got fish and chips- crispy outside and juicy inside. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Food, service, and atmosphere were amazing. The Lobster Roll was terrific! Drinks were, of course, crafted with care.

Delicious food all around, reasonable prices, and good service. (Pictured is tagliatelle -could have used a bit more salt-, arctic char, and swordfish). Cozy and lively atmosphere.

I was in Portland for a night for a business trip and stayed a few minutes walk away from this place. I decided to try it out. Cozy little bar with table seating. Good local beer on tap and great food. I got the fish and chips, which was fresh, perfectly fried and excellent. My only complaint was that the portion seemed small for the price. It was $27 and came with three smaller pieces of fish. I was still kind of hungry after the meal and for that kind of money, I just wish there was one more piece. Other than that, it is a nice place.

So this place does happy hour every day of the week. So bonus right there. Came in for a few drinks ended up getting some food. JR the bartender is so personable and friendly we didn’t want to leave. The food so good we had the mussels and they are so huge and delish. Im not a fan of licorice but was not over powering so i enjoyed. Also had the brie and was cooked perfect and we ate all of it. Finished with the calamari was good not great. But atmosphere service and food combo will bring us back not to mention JR

The food was delicious… didn’t think roasted Brussels sprouts could taste good but they were amazing. I spilled my water almost immediately after sitting down and the hostess was cleaning it up in less than 5 seconds. She wouldn’t even let me help clean. She also noticed the candle was almost out when she was cleaning and brought over a new one right away. It was the first time my girlfriend and I have been out in a while and we were so happy we decided to go there. We were 15 minutes late to our reservation and worried we were going to lose our spot and the hostess said no problem and we still got sat with ease even though the restaurant was packed. I would definately go again and highly recommend to anyone looking for friendly service and to have a good time.

Tucked away on the corner, the Little Tap House is anything but. Great food, phenomenal drinks, and a wonderful staff. We brought our little with us and we’re treated wonderfully. Our server was attentive and knew the menu inside and out. We had the swordfish, smashburger, calamari, and Nutella pudding for the perfect meal. Also. The back nine is one of those drinks you must order.

Service was friendly and fairly quick for a busy Friday night, although we had made a reservation. I got the lobster mac (amazing) & my husband got the hangar steak (a bit too chewy for the $$). Beer was good.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and Bri was an awesome hostess/waitress/woman who does it all! We had a lovely evening and liked every single thing we ordered from the menu. I especially loved that you could order a small flight of local beers. I’d be happy to recommend Little Tap House to anyone 🙂 also the mussels were the biggest I’ve ever seen!
