Today after worship, I scooted to Liza’s! Everything is fresh and made from scratch! I eat out little so when I do, Liza’s is one of my several favorites. Everyone is super friendly! And the restaurant is clean! Including the restrooms. I took 2 lbs of their home chicken salad home! So good!

We went here for the first time today after coming to PCB every year for the past 5 years! It is safe to say this is our new breakfast spot on the weekends. We got there as soon as they opened for brunch and sat outside. I had the Hippie Hash, my mom had the Biscuits and Gravy and I’m not sure what my Dad ordered but it had their homemade bread and it was delicious. The Hippie Hash was $18, but it was sooo much food! Definitely enough for 2 people, I’d recommend sharing. I had a mimosa and it was perfect. Service was the best I’ve had in PCB! 10/10 Recommend!

As a newbie to Liza’s, we realized quick that we needed to get a table before ordering. I sent my order with another member of our group and sat at a table a little big for us but was offering up the extra table to others. One waitress approached my table and asked me to move. I didn’t understand why she was saying that. She then said that at their restaurant, you didn’t sit before placing your order. I informed here that I was placing an order through another member of our group. She then said that a group of women that she pointed to had placed their order before me. At that point, several members of that group asked her not to push the situation. She responded, “Now, it’s the point.” I was embarrassed to be called out in such a small area with everyone looking on. I did get up to save the escalation. But what right did she have to ask a paying customer to move out of a seat? I was mad, and didn’t want to stay because of the embarrassment. I told her that maybe I should not spend my money there. She responded, “ That’s ok.” Now unless she is the owner of the shop, I would be concerned that she was fine turning away a paying customer. My group ultimately decided to order, and so did I. Only wished I hadn’t, my biscuit and gravy was not good. Only one member of our group really enjoyed the food. Also, when I ordered, I heard her tell someone in the back that she would tell them what was so funny. A person from the back came out to look at me. You can’t tell me that she wasn’t making fun of me!

Food was delicious and high quality. All homemade soups and sandwiches, even the mayonnaise. Great service . We had the BLAT sandwich, Trio (scoops of pimento cheese, hummus, and chicken salad with warm pita bread), and tomato basil soup. All delicious. Not cheap but worth the price.
