Hard workin momma
This was our first time here. We were actually impressed. I love home cooking cafes and diners. The vibe here was great! They have the old 50s vibe going on and even had the music to go with it. I got the biscuits and gravy breakfast and my fiance got the full breakfast with pancakes. They have the really nice fluffy, homemade biscuits! And the pancakes were surprisingly VERY good! They were pretty much IHOP quality, in my opinion. We would definitely go back to this one! (PSA: the biscuits and gravy do not come with everything on them like that. It comes on 2 different platters).

This diner is amazing. There are not many diners left anymore. I will continue to support this local owned restaurant. The food is always delicious, fresh, and the patrons are friendly as well as the staff.

When I travel I seek out mom and pop places to eat. They are usually good and Lizzy’s was no exception. The service was great. The food was great as well. My eggs were cooked perfectly to order. I noticed in one review that someone said they only got a small portion of hash browns. Mine portion was plenty. I am a coffee nut and the coffee was very good for resteraunt coffee. If I am through Longview TX again I will definitely eat there again.

Omelet was a little disappointing and it’s not a 3 egg omelet. I asked for extra cheese and extra bacon, paying for an extra order of bacon. It only had 2 pieces of bacon in it and cheese just on top, 2 slices. The toast was great. The hash browns were perfect and the fried egg on the side was cooked perfect, on mine. My girlfriends eggs were under cooked though. So hit or miss. Nice little place. I’ll give it another try. Waitress started out rude but got better
