Normally food is great. I don’t know what happened but our order included two mix plates and on both sets the beef and ribs were burned beyond edible. I did not write for the atmosphere as I had take out/ delivery. It is a shame as god here is usually good. I guess have to move on to another vendor

I usually go to the on Austin hwy but I moved and found out about another location 10 mins away from my place of residence I miss the islands, the food is jus as good as when I was back on the islands!!! That Mac salad is everything and the Hawaiian drinks I also miss. If u haven’t u should try this place THEY DNT DISAPPOINT.

Chicken Katsu NEEDS the curry! PLEASE get that curry that your Hawaiian stores have…. crushed today to not see it. But still liked the Katsu Chicken. Aside from the Curry, this was spot-on to both of the L&L Hawaiian BBQ places I have been to in Hawaii.

Disappointing for the first time with L&L. I love my L&L mac salad and BBQ mix plate. This is my second time going to this place to give it another try but food taste is just not there especially the mac salad (didnt have taste at all). Plus, since when L&L gave small portion for the high price, sloppy, and being stingy???? Pics looks good but it was DISAPPOINTING on the first bite!

Food was great but I used the app to order ahead and still ended up waiting about 30 minutes for my order. (Ordered at 6:14. Should have been ready at 6:38. Wasn’t ready until almost 7:00 and then it was wrong. I caught it before I left and had to go back inside to get the right items. Ironically, the server had told me, “Sorry for the wait but we wanted to make sure we had everything right.” They didn’t. But the food was good after we got it all sorted out.

Why are there always flies flying around in here? Also, compared to L&L around Fort Sam Houston, the service is just the worst. Had three people standing around the cash register and not busy at all, just chitchatting, I tipped $10, I still have to throw away my own trash? Another time, I was the only customer, asked for a military discount, the cashier said I will get it next time. What do you mean? You can’t go back and just add it? Like are you in a rush or something? Spent $25 plus the tip? Additionally, why was the rice cold, not even warm. I can tell the rice was from day before. Just because y’all didn’t use all the rice from day before, it does not mean you should be using it the next day. Y’all can say it’s not from day before, well it tasted like it was from day before. It’s either from day before or y’all are using cheap rice then. Y’all can make it look like L&L inside, but it’s just not the same experience as the one by Fort Sam Houston. It’s already overpriced compared to other restaurants nearby, yet there is nothing in specific y’all offer better than other restaurants so why would people come and eat here? Y’all can say aloha all you want, I’ve been to Hawaii numerous times, there is no aloha at all in this place.

The food here is excellent. The place is clean and maintains the sanitation of the tables. This place is real busy durning lunch on Weekday’s, I recommend ordering in advance in their app and pick it up.

Tried L&L today for lunch. I got the spam musubi and the saimin noodles with spam. The food was solid. The broth for the noodles was excellent, and the noodles and spam, while basic, was definitely comfort food. Very affordable, and delicious. Not pictured here is the fish sandwich which is also delicious.
