This family owned & operated establishment is truly an experience. An authentic taste of the Islander culture is exactly what to expect here. They treat every customer like a neighbor and you can also find them at my favorite place on Thursdays near the Oceanside Pier at the open air Sunset Market where if ya don’t get there early you’ll miss their tasty BBQ cuz they sell out by nights end. Yet don’t you worry because you’ll find them conveniently located at their restaurant just blocks from the beach on Coast Hwy!!! My daughter and I had Chicken Katsu & BBQ Chicken plate with rice and their homemade recipe mac salad. We have been fans for a couple years now.

I am from Hawaii, Born and raised. My family ate at L&L a lot. Wow, this is authentic as it gets and the service is super outstanding! I ordered catering for a party, and Crystal is so amazing! She had everything ready and is so personable I felt like I was back home. Everyone at the party loved the food and complimented on how good it was. Love this new location, and so happy that’s is close by Cheeehuuu!!!!!!

The food was great when it arrived. Of course I say when it arrived cuz that took forever. And to make matters worse, they got the order completely wrong. I ordered the mix plate and I just got straight teriyaki. I didn’t want to say anything as it already took forever to get my order but the food was good. I’ll give it one more try and hope it goes better next time.

In Oceanside from Denver for Spring Break with family. After a day of walking through the flower fields in Carlsbad we were very hungry. This place delivered on portion size and quality. We ordered the tossed salad with Miso dressing. Fresh greens and tomatoes with a flavorful dressing. We also ordered the Kaluha pork with cabbage and the Loco Moco. The pork and cabbage were tender and flavorful. The Loco Moco was just awesome. Reminded me of being in Hawaii on liberty when I was in the Navy. Highly suggest trying this place.
