The guy taking My order was rude and didn’t not greet me. He looked like the owner a old Korean looking man. I asked if they had tartar sauce and he said yes but when I asked for six packages he looked angry and shook his head. I paid for my order and sat down. The place was pretty big and it was clean from the floor to the tables. A couple of families were eating inside. They had a restroom and I went to use it and it was clean and spotless. I went sat down and then My order was ready and he didn’t even Thank Me and that’s why I’m never going there. I’m all about customer service and how you treat people the food could be great but your bad customer service left a BAD taste in my mouth.I noticed that the cooks were all Latino. I went home and the food was delicious and then I checked my receipt and he charged me $1.00 for the extra tartar sauce. I don’t mind paying for it but he never told me it was an extra charge for it. To Me that’s a shady CROOKED move and Who knows what other customers he overcharged. I won’t never go here and I’ll tell everyone I know not to go to ThiS L&L location !!!

The owner is incredibly stingy with condiments and cutlery. He’s also very aggressive and confrontational. The food is maybe 3/5 so not good enough to deal with rude customer service. Also, there’s a dumpster right outside of the front door so as you go in and leave on a hot day it smells like death

I’ve ordered a tray of katsu chicken and I don’t know what they made me but they weren’t chicken katsu. They were all hard and their were no meat all hard and was just a waste of my money no one at the party ate it and it was disappointing. Never going back ever again

If your in the mood for some good katsu or short ribs this place is fairly good! Ive been here on a few occasions and have not been disappointed! Sometimes they get busy but its worth it! Thats why they get busy. All in all great lil spot!

I have been here a few times and the lady at the cash register(who I believe is the owner) is always rude. I have always tried to be nice but there is just no reason to treat customers like that. Not to mention the location seems to be poorly kept.

Anytime I’m in the Bay area, I have to stop in at L&L at least once. The food never fails to be amazing, especially the chicken katsu. I’m not sure what recipe they use for their macaroni salad, but it’s perfect too. $10 for a big portion of katsu, can’t go wrong!
