Couldn’t finish the food, sodium overload. My family visited on the 8th which my wife had a Garlic Shrimp plate while I got the Garlic Chicken plate. Both plates were SO salty that it overpowers the flavors, almost un-eatable. We probably won’t be going back any time soon….

Good service and quick. The food was hot but not too hot and was good. We both got the kulua pork bowl and I got a macaroni salad side. Also grabbed one blue berry cheesecake. It was good but was not too fond of the graham cracker crust.

The worst hamburger steak plate. No gravy on Pattie’s only on rice with hardly no gravy. I have never been disappointed with Honolulu or Kailua, Oahu. Great gravy on Pattie’s and rice. You can taste the delicious gravy. Don’t order the plate the mini has much gravy but I was hungry so went for the gusto. Never again will I go there. This is my favorite on Oahu.

On July 1, 2023, three of us embarked on a mission to visit all 12 L&Ls on the big island and eat one order of musubi at each location. This was our 9th stop on our endeavor and whilst feeling stuffed with rice and salty meat, we continued our mission with a Katsu musubi.

Loves Traveling
Our favorite L&L anywhere is in Pahoa. They have moved into a new location and the new space is very nice. The staff have always been especially nice to customers with a true Aloha spirit. I like having the option of the healthier plate with green salad instead of macaroni salad. The chicken is always good. Covid precautions are enforced with mask wearing required and social distancing in place. Dine in is currently allowed.

We were looking for some local BBQ for dinner. We were disappointed with the experience. We had poor service, a long wait and the food was bland. My husband had the ribs and the cut of meat was not good. I saw these restaurants all over the island, I am hoping an isolated experience at this one location.

I love chicken katsu where is the cabbage and crispy chicken but there slacking on makeing everything . My family brought home orders and they did everything wrong… I am not going to post a pictures because they don’t care. Bad service L&L learn how to read and cook.
