I live in burien and I didn’t know there was a L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in burien. I love L&L food I had it back then in San Francisco in California . The staff in the front was very rude and toxic, I was not ready to pay yet and hedid not give me the attention. from the other shops would. Food was not that good of a quality like the others. We love this place! I’m surprised they don’t know me by name yet. Food is excellent A+, always hot, crunchy, fresh and delicious. I order it to go, so I never sat inside to eat, but it’s welcoming, the people who work there are always friendly, always with a smile. They haven’t messed up a order, the food is never bad, My Daughter always gets the Spam Musubi, never had a complaint about it and she can complain. I get the Chicken Katsu Salad, it is amazing, greens are crunchy, and they stack the Katsu, that I’ll have some left over for later or a light lunch. Spare Ribs is a favorite here too. I mean it’s just amazing.

The staff was nice but the store was filthy. None of the tables, chairs or benches were wiped down. My feet even stuck to the floor. Thr moco loco gravy was good but the burger patties were rubbery, as if they were cooked hours before and then got warmed up for service. The short ribs were so flat and dry and almost black, they looked as though they’d been sitting in a pan under a heat lamp for two days. The windows all across the store were dirty and smeared up. I’d hate to imagine what the kitchen or food storage looks like…

4/18/2023 – today my bf who was wearing glasses at 3:46pm opt to order take out by calling the store but the phone is always turned off. L&L used to be so good last year 8 months ago. the store was slow it was not busy, there was no one inside when i walked in to order, i mean i understand if the store is busy and you can’t pick up the phone, the girl in the front was playing on her own phone but did not bother to pick up the phone at this business. if you have to give me sassy look when your working in customer service you should not work in customer service.
