I came here after reading some reviews and they were not wrong! You definitely get your money’s worth on the amount of food you order. I got the regular chicken katsu and I’ll have to take it home for leftovers the portions were huge! I would definitely come back here to try other stuff.

On July 1, 2023, three of us embarked on a journey to visit all 12 L&L locations on the Big Island. This was our 5th stop. Hands down, this is the nicest L&L on island in terms of scenery and atmosphere. The service was mediocre and one can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is, which is exactly what to expect with any good L&L.

Good food at great prices. Got the BBQ Mix plate. The food was hot and well sauced. The mac salad was delicious, and the rice fluffy and evenly cooked. L&L is an institution and its even better on the Big Island.
