The restaurant has a very nice patio that I really liked. They have water humidifiers that help to mantain a nice temperature despite the hot weather. The atmosphere had a nice vibe.

The food is incredible, but the drinks are a highlight! The live music was REALLY good (Latin Dukes band) and the atmosphere is really cool for different occasion. I went there on Saturday night and made my reservation on Open Table, which made things easier. I highly recommend this place.

Every single plate was delicious. Definitely authentic Peruvian food in Austin! I recommend ordering family style so you get to enjoy every single dish. The portions are excellent! (I had to bring some back home with me). My favorite ones were Ají de gallina, lomo saltado and el

We came for lunch before they got busy and had great service. The outdoor seating was comfortable with lots of shade and the plants give the patio a cozy tropical vibe.

Food is always good and fresh. Great on the spice and unique flavor combinations. The service can be slow, especially with the mixed drinks. The wooden benches can be uncomfortable and there is no place for your purse at the 2 tops. The food is worth the trouble.

Really nice, airy outdoor space away from the busier section of the East Side dining/bar scene. Food was fine, with an average price of around $25, cocktails ~ $15. Some of the lomo pieces were a bit dry, and the grilled octopus lacked a good char. The patatas bravas were one of the best things we had. Summary: expensive for the quality and overall experience.

We decided to try this place because they had a couple of vegetarian options and some maracuyá drinks. The cocktail drink was just okay and not very flavorful and the juice was from a bottle. We tried the vegetarian ceviche and the Lomo saltado. We assumed there would be some type of meat replacement because these dishes are almost $30 each. We received plates with a small portion of vegetables. Cauliflower, mushrooms and corn. It was well seasoned but grossly overpriced. The fried yucas were very good and the service was great . I wish they would have actual vegetarian/vegan options and not just remove remove the main part of the dish and charge the same. The tres leches dessert was just dry cake covered in too much condensed milk.

This was much better than I expected. I thought it was simply a food truck and a cold patio table. There’s plenty of parking. We arrived without reservations on a Friday night, but were quickly sat for two in their cute tented space. It was such a charming spot with lights and plenty of heat lamps.

Found Llama Kid when looking for a Peruvian restaurant where we could have ceviche. I had been craving a good ceviche after having an amazing one a few weeks ago while on vacation. Llama kid didn’t disappoint. Ceviche trio was excellent and so was the catch of the day, which was sword fish. Presentation was nice and patio atmosphere was casual and pleasant.
