I think maybe they were having a bad day, but unfortunately, the breakfast we got today was rediculously overcooked. We even tried just covering everything with gravy and even that didn’t help. Sad stuff. The waitress also kinda sparred with us, which was weird. Wait time also crazy for stuff to come out of the kitchen.

Pros: Exactly what we were looking for in what my husband likes to call a “dive bar”. It’s dark, no loud pop music, pool tables and a few slot machines- and the bartender was nice enough without being overly friendly- if you know what we mean 😉

Seat yourself, but most the booths were for larger parties so we chose a table. The staff was friendly and kind. We tried the special for breakfast that day. A pork omelette with hash browns and it was cooked well. We ordered a side of French toast which tasted a bit weird…. Cumin. Cumin French toast that I believe to be an accident since cinnamon and cumin both start with C. Tastes drastically different and made that a pretty interesting laughable experience. It didn’t quite hit my husband and I’s sweet spot so we had a dessert across the street to clear our pallets.

Waited over an hour for a table, when finally seated we waited for our food for over 45 minutes. We ordered the county breakfast and French toast. What I would consider very basic staples for breakfast, shouldn’t take almost an hour to make. The people who were seated after us, received their food first. The waitress even gave our food to a different table before realizing that wasn’t what they ordered. My French toast was super dry and the instant I put syrup on it, it got all mushy and fell apart. Not to mention our food was ice cold the second we received it. I do have to mention the main lady running around doing all kinds of things was great!
