Al’s Adventures
LNB garners a lot of up and down reviews. For a local in the area it’s a great place to stop in for a quick bite and a pint! I haven’t seemed to be able to visit during busier hours but every time I’ve gone the service is fine. The food is just as one would expect for a bar style establishment but, it’s always great and tasty, especially their chicken wings grilled! I rate it 5 starts because it’s what I expect it to be as far as great service and good food.

Salad was beautiful but sadly no dressing. My hubs waited longer for tarter sauce. No refills on water. We felt neglected and it was too busy.

Went to LNB for a whisky sour and a bullet and coke with a friend. The bartender served our drinks in pint glasses, which with the pour ratios used with a typical cocktail glass/bourbon glass. Made the drinks taste awful and had little to no bourbon/whiskey. Bartender was awful. Very rude not versed in customer service what so ever. I will never come back. Sad to see a nice staple of haymarket go down the drain.

Tried to order food at 11 PM on a Friday night, but server told us the kitchen closed at 10:30!!! Eat early, or somewhere else, if you get hungry late on nights out. NOTE: Removed one star just for this as we were very hungry and had to leave early to go eat.

Cheerful casual dining with many delicious feel good food choices with matching service. Prices were quite reasonable as well. Put good food, good service and good prices all together and you’ll have the formula that draws in young families to seniors alike. Not a fancy establishment but felt homey. I encourage you to give them a try!

If you asked me to review this restaurant in the first 10 minutes we were there, I would have given it 1 star. We made reservations almost a week in advance for the Mother’s Day brunch. When we arrived, the place was packed, and they had no record of our reservation. After the manager ran around for a minute, they seated us in a corner, with a bench on one side that had arms(how do you get in and out at a brunch??). About a minute after us, a large party of 14 was seated in the row of tables next to us. While we waited, they received silverware, and drink orders were taken. After waiting 10 minutes, I approached the manager about the situation. We were promptly re-seated, and greeted by a waitress within seconds. The food served for brunch was Great!!! Definitely try the Crepes, and Eggs Benedict! Our waitress was attentive, kept the table clear, and our drinks filled. All in all, the staff was able to change what was a very bad experience into a good one! Definitely going to go back and try them again.
