If you are looking for a delicious southern style breakfast, this is the place for it! Oh, not to mention service with a smile! Food was seasoned to perfection and served hot!

Nice laid back urban bar vibes, with hip-hop/R&B music working as white noise. Having chicken & waffles in your name gave me no reason to order anything else. They didn’t miss with taste. So good we returned the following day. Sonia was our waitress one day and Adam the other.

If you’re from DC you know we live for a good brunch, so finding a spot mid week mid day with great food is a WIN! We didn’t wait for seating but the bar was open so we headed there. NOW if you have brunch a mimosa is a must BUT a mimosa flight is perfection. They were perfect. The ratio of champagne to juice was superb. Now the food came out piping hot which is always important to me. We ordered the catfish beignets first and before we were even done half of the appetizer our food was coming out! Now…I am not necessarily a fried chicken person (I actually don’t like it) but being I was at a chicken and waffles establishment, well duh, I had to order just that. Boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. The wings were crispy and well seasoned. The waffle was hot and delicious. I highly recommend. I ordered a side order of scrambled eggs with cheese too and they did them EXACTLY how I make mine; scrambled light and lightly seasoned. Perfect. Now the other menu items definitely were appetizing and I will be ordering some other options next go round!

The food was great!!! The chicken was seasoned just right, nice and crispy, and there was plenty of meat on those bones. The atmosphere was welcoming. Our waitress was MIA, but the other staff was happy to help. We ended up getting our drinks about 10 minutes after our food arrived. I did “dig” in the other plate, too. The yams, greens, catfish, mac and cheese….all fire!!!

For a first timer. I would say this is a go Must go to spot. Great atmosphere, music was a plus. Great play list. Service was great, specially for a party of 7. Not the mention the food was on point. Thought granny was back there.

One of the top soul food places in all of greater phoenix. I always get the Famous Soulfood Platter when I come here, and it always hits the spot. A large portion of your choice of fried chicken, catfish, or others with 2 sides and some cornbread. I always leave wanting more. Things here are a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

Wow, in town visiting family and great things about this establishment. Originally, they went to their other locatbut they had a lot of construction around and didn’t look very hospitable, so we drove across town to their east location. I’m so glad we did as this location far exceeded my expectations. It was a dinner time meal, so this place was jumping with lively music and games on the tv. The meal was excellent, on par with some other highbprofile chicken and waffle spots. The only thing that keeps it off my coveted “Certified Mad Good ” rating was what they called banana pudding. Come on, you got to do better as it was flavorless. Overall, it was very worthy of another trip. I just need to try a different dessert.

Our waitress was wonderful and all of the dishes came out well. The Kool-Aid came in large Mason jars. My dish, the Mac and cheese with shrimp/bacon/onions was very cheesy but salty.

Lo-Lo’s Chicken and Waffles is a culinary delight that excels not only in their signature dish but also in their fish and veggies offerings. The chicken and waffles combination is outstanding, with perfectly crispy and flavorful chicken paired with fluffy, golden waffles that create a harmonious blend of sweet and savory. The fish dishes are equally impressive, with flaky, well-seasoned fillets that are cooked to perfection. The veggies are fresh and expertly prepared, providing a delightful balance to the hearty main courses. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff add to the overall experience. Lo-Lo’s Chicken and Waffles is a must-visit for anyone seeking a soulful and satisfying meal that celebrates comfort food at its finest.

OOH! Lo-Lo’s is the real deal! Best chicken and waffles I’ve had. Sweet potatoes were tender and glazed just right. The crazy fries were so good, but they’re built for about 3 people. When I get back to PHX, I’mma get back to Lo-Lo’s.
