The restaurant was nice inside but we decided to eat on the patio. Very nice and comfortable outside. The lighting and heaters made it enjoyable. Me and my wife really liked the way the area looked and were not surprised to learn they had weddings there. The service was great, very friendly. The clam chowder was good. The onion rings were very good. Everything was looking like it was going to be a great experience. I ordered the ribeye medium-well. It was full of fat and gristle. Not just a little, all the way through. One of the worst steaks I’ve had. Everything was great except the most important part of the dinning experience-the entrees. We like finding new places to eat and were looking forward to eating here. We may come back, to many good reviews to not try again.

This place is definitely off the beaten path In a little out-of-the-way town. Food is plentiful and amazing. Chicken breast tender and juicy. Order the onion rings and expect to get a big pile of them. The rib eye steak was tender and cooked perfectly The waitresses truly hustle and are friendly courteous and efficient. Favorite hang out with lots of the locals everybody knows everybody kind of place.

We came here with some friends that live in the area and they’ve been wanting to take us here for a while. When I pulled up, I saw a rustic building in a remote town with many vehicles parked on the road and parking lot, so I was hoping it was going to be good. Once inside, it is a really nice restaurant with a nice patio. Outside is kid friendly.

Didn’t eat in the restaurant but I went to an event that was held in their event area and they made really good tri-tip and chicken and garlic bread and salad and there were lots of different hors d’oeuvres to go with it.

Appetizer: Sautéed button mushrooms in butter and garlic, with the homemade bread was delicious. The butter was loaded with tiny garlic pieces and the mushrooms were infused with ALL that goodness…highly recommend.

I have family that lives nearby and we frequent this place. I have not had a bad meal here and I have had most of whats on the menu. Steaks are cooked to your liking, drinks are fabulous, staff is friendly and owner is on site cooking and talking to the people. This is one of the only places in the area and a little hard to find but get there if you can. No disappointments at all. I have been coming here for years now. My grandfather lives up the street from the chute and loves coming on to see his old friend Dave. Food is still good and dave cooks it on the open pit for everyone to see.

We were here last month for a dinner date while staying in Paso on a road trip. What a delightful surprise! Right off the bat, our waitress was extremely personable, easy-going and accommodating, and we had a very welcoming and smooth experience with her, (as well as with each person who came by our table to deliver or clear something).
