My daughter and I had lunch here on a Friday after work. We sat outside to eat. Inside the restaurant is located down a set of stairs. There is seating inside as well. It is really cute, smaller spot to eat. I got the lobster mac and cheese. The Mac and Cheese part of the dish was bland and the pasta noodle weren’t the right type in my opinion but the lobster was good. They do have a Lobster roll Cold or Hot that I might try next time. We also got Clam Chowder and Clam strips that were both great. The waitress was friendly and fast. I would 100% recommend this one to try. We will be back!

Solid spot for lobster rolls and grilled seafood sandwiches.

Super Delish!! I literally stop here every time I’m in Cambridge visiting my son, which is likely taking away from other experiences, lol, but I can always rely on their great buttery lobstah roll to make my day. I’ve eaten many rolls as such in my day, from various vendors, and find these restaurants roll to be soft and sweet the right way (lightly toasted) and the lobster is fresh & flavorful with the butter layer never being too absurd. The butter honestly can’t be too overwhelming, or it creates unnecessary bread moisture causing for either a bad eating experience where the sandwich falls apart or creates a soggy bread texture in your mouth which is likely the worst of the 2 situations. I always get the tacos as well and it’s frankly less of a meal and more like an appetizer (only 3), but it has this simple, fresh and yummy taste that’s a lighter option if you’re not too hungry. This trip I had to leave a review because the service was exceptional. We got stuck in major traffic and arrived in town minutes to their closing. We called the restaurant and they totally looked out for us!! Made all our requests and prepared them perfectly. At the end of any evening, you know people want to go home and I truly appreciate them making an exception and getting the order in before closing the kitchen.

Delish!!! Had the New Englander Lobstah Roll and a bowl of Clam Chowder. Both were so good. The Lobstah Roll was stacked with meat. Highly recommend for a quick Boston famous tasty meal. Prices were also a few bucks less than the street restaurants. There were lots of takeout orders leaving the store if that’s your fancy.

Went for a quick early dinner during the weekday. Was seated immediately and was the only person. I had a cup of clam chowda, and their lobstah roll served warm with butter. Also drank a Sam Adam’s boston lager. All-in-all it was decent food. Lobster was a little chewy. Place was a little messy. Service was good.

If you are visiting Boston for the first time, this place is a must. My Lobstah Roll was phenomenal. I still think about how delicious it was. Even on a hot summer day, the clam chowder hit the spot too. The proximity to Fenway was also helpful, as after our meal, my wife and I walked to the game.

Feels like a hole in the wall place but it’s cranking out pretty good food. Staff is super friendly, portions are great too. There was some promotion going on where if you order a lobster roll they include a cup of clam chowder as well – so I got to try two Boston classics at one place.

Stopped at Lobstah on a Roll on a Saturday evening for exactly what the name says… a lobster roll. Sat outside and watched the people on Newbury Street. Service was good and lobster roll was fine and overflowing with lobster.

I got the Bostonian roll and it was a large roll but lacked much flavor. There wasn’t anything terrible about it, just bland and meh, not what I was hoping to get for a $36 roll. They were having a deal for a free cup of clam chowder with any roll so I also got that, and let’s just say I’m glad it was free. It was also bland and had chunks of flower or dough in it and was just not good at all. Overall, I had hoped for better, and this meal fell short for me.
