We stopped in for a quick bite to share and I’m glad we did! We got a cup of the clam chowder each and split a lobster roll with butter. It was so good! The service was great, everyone was so friendly and we talked football with the crew. Great experience for just a quick visit. We will be back and we will tell others. Great hidden gem!

I had the hot Bostonian lobster roll, it didn’t come with any sides for $24 aside from that it was fresh and rich lobster on a toasted bun dipped in melted butter. My counterpart had the lobster Mac’n’cheese more like an Alfredo, not even a piece of bread to accompany it but tasty. House hot sauce is Louisiana.

Been searching for a place in St Augustine that had a descent lobster roll. Most restaurants here failed what I was looking for. This place hit the spot. Service was vary quick today. Got our order in 6 minutes. If you have bought food at a amusement park recently. then prices are responsible given the portion sizes. I had the famous fish sandwich. I was not expecting how large of a sandwich it was. It was vary tasty.

Lobster was great. Ordered the 6oz lobster roll hot with drawn butter. Would have personally liked a better quality roll and have had it lightly toasted. Prices are steep. The coleslaw was $3, and came in a tiny to go cup. Was not good. Ordered a bowl of lobster bisque- very creamy, like a purée. Pretty bland, no chucks of lobster, just cream. Portions aren’t big. Spent over $50 on a roll, soup, and coleslaw for lunch. Again, lobster was fresh and tasted very good. Wasn’t wow’d enough to spend that again for what I got, but glad I tried it. Location is convenient to Flagler in Saint Augustine. Parking available, most spots are pay by plate. Restaurant is clean with limited tables.

The only other branches of this place are in Boston… That says alot. Got the Lobstah roll and Chowdah and was very pleased! Thick chunks of lobster (get the butter dressing). Doubt you’ll find a better lobster roll anywhere near here.

Nasty food. The fish is not local and the only option is the Alaskan Haddock. The hush puppies were under done and mushy in the middle. Even the slaw was not worth eating. We left most of our food on the plate and threw it away.

Shrimp Po’boy comes on a thick bread roll, accompanied by 5 (under seasoned) shrimp. Price is $14 this is served without fries. Fries are an additional $2 they were the best part of the meal. Chicken wings are literally plain jane. Broccoli bites were decent but should be listed as “broccoli cheese bites” as there’s loads of cheese in them. Also.. Not sure why this is still listed as Bantham chef on third party delivery websites…just keep in mind it’s not the same business or food quality.

My husband and I went here and got the 2 choices of meat and we got the fish and shrimp and it was great. We went back the next day and got the shrimp boat platter, and it was great. We shared each meal and still could not eat it all. We recommend Lobstah on a Roll.
