Visited the Lobster Shack for a work event. It was really lovely. We sat on the top floor deck with beautiful view! I of course had the lobster roll which was very good. Lots of fresh lobster and warm butter. The service was terrific. The staff was very attentive to our large group. People were arriving at different times which can be tricky and the Lobster Shack staff took care of each guest as they arrived. Will definitely go back.

First time at the lobster shack; the service was great from the time we got there, we asked to be seated upstairs-inside as it was very hot out. The food came out promptly and it was all correct. We order lobster rolls, clam chowder, salmon-corn chowder and the mussels. The food was very good and the view and beach y atmosphere complimented everything! We’ll definitely be going back.

Great location! We sat right by the water. The place was huge. The wait staff was super friendly. The food was great as well! Had a great time! Forgot to take a pic of my sandwich but it was amazing! My fiance had the lobster roll and he loved it!

Excellent place for lunch with a view of the water. Food was excellent, fairly priced and good portions. Highly recommend the Lobster roll or the fried clam roll. Some of the best French fries!

The place has a nice view of the beach and is super quiet. I had the Lobster roll which is supposed to be one of the favorites but honestly it is not: over cooked Lobster and small portion size at high price. Also, they forgot I was sitting and took about 20 min to even noticed, I was about to leave. Iced tea is not refill, I should have asked!

My brother in-law wanted a lobster roll on a recent trip to CT. I brought him here and he and I were not disappointed. First off the service was excellent, well paced, friendly and accommodating. Next, the food was delivered promptly and hot, we had the lobster roll (it was packed) and Hummel Dog (delicious), Clam Chowder(hot and tasty). The clams on the half were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing with great views of the water from the 2nd floor. This is definitely a recommendation if you are in the area and looking for a great place to get a good New England dining experience.

Lobster roll has a very short shelf life. When it is not consumed within a short window, it could go wrong in so many ways. But not only does Lobster Shock make a great lobster roll, the service is also impeccable so lobster roll is served just about perfectly. Everything from lobster roll, little neck claim, seafood soup, and Bloody Mary were served well and in time. Highly recommended.

Came here planning to treat myself to a fancier (more expensive) meal after a hard week. I enjoyed my service and appreciated the server’s suggestions. Ordered the crab cakes at their recommendation – they were well seasoned but be aware that they are more cakey than crabby, I think I’m used to a flaky Maryland crab cake stuffed with crab meat, while this was more of a fritter. The vodka sauce was watery but okay with the crab cakes.

Wonderful place to eat. Was expecting the full normal menu. But it was Italian night. A smaller Italian themed menu. Fortunately they still had the lobster rolls.
