Local and Company, is an upscale American cuisine restaurant with a full service bar and a comfortable, welcoming dining experience. Great food! The spring chicken and dumplings tasted like Thanksgiving if the food were made by an actual chef instead of your Aunt Margaret. The classic pizza was tasty and everything was very fresh. Our server was super friendly and did a great job! Highly recommend.

We had a great meal here. I was a little disappointed that I had to order off the lunch menu, I was looking forward to trying the ribeye. We had the filet and the burger. The food was awesome. Good job guys!

Such an amazing experience! It was our first time in Alabama and I must say coming here ended our trip on an amazing note! Our server Kaylee was amazing! Talk about southern hospitality Kaylee, you’re the definition! The food was amazing! We cleaned our plates! The atmosphere was also amazing and beautiful. I would 100% be back if and when I come back to Alabama. Oh I got the pork loin with grilled broccoli and sweet potato purée (yum!)

2023 Update: food remains solid and service remains good overall. However, really close to knocking a star off for cocktails. It’s an extreme faux pas to serve an old fashioned in a highball glass with many small ice cubes & it be half full. Rookie mistake, and not up to the level of execution I expect from this place… You should never pay double digits for a cocktail that arrives visually half full. Everyone knows it should be a singular highball ice cube for presentation and minimal dilution of the cocktail. Step up the bar game please!

Overall tonight should of been a nice experience. We are a younger couple (mid30’s) We noticed the older clientele was being attended too more frequently and were not attended to in a timely manor. My husband tried to get the waitresses attention polity four times before getting up twice. Once to the bar for salt and once to get olives(which he paid $4 and tipped $4 as well for them.) We gave up ordering anything and excused ourselves earlier than we would of liked. We still tipped generously even with the lack of care. We do not recommend this dining experience for younger adults.

We typically go during lunch because I love their steak tacos, but tonight we ventured out for dinner and the meal and service were superb! Our waiter (Luke, maybe?) was so friendly and expeditious. The plating and presentation was beautiful. I eat with my eyes first and this meal was incredibly inviting. We had the Pan Roasted Duck Breast with stuffing and cranberry puree and it was reminiscent of a delicious Thanksgiving meal. There wasn’t a crumb left! We also had the Grilled Chicken Breast with red potatoes and kale. The chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly and the kale was wilted to perfection and I ate every piece of it! There is also an extensive wine for the wine connoisseurs.
