TL;DR: Not for vegetarians; and the fries were soggy. After spending a week in the Bellevue area, Local Burger served up the one fully disappointing meal of the entire visit. My son and I visited for lunch at about noon on a Monday. We each ordered the veggie burger; he ordered regular fries as his side and I ordered truffle fries. The burgers arrived and I noticed that the fries looked rather dark and, well, flexible. Yep, they were soft and unappetizing. The veggie burgers were bland and tasted a bit tart – not a flavor I would expect from a lentil burger. I sent back the fries and the server didn’t offer to remake them, and she didn’t partially comp the check. I thought about asking to speak with a manager before we left, but our time was limited, and I simply noted it as a lesson learned. Oh well, we had room for dessert at Belle Pastry across the street, which lifted our moods. 🙂

A burger bar with a difference, using only locally sourced things for the menu. Great taste but I’m more of a traditional kinda person. Definitely worth a visit still.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Also pretty good deviled eggs and an off-the-wall take on a classic: PB&J poppers.

First time here and I’ll be back. Holding out the 5th star for when I get back and try a burger but they look awesome. Had the deviled eggs and they have a lot of bacon. Yum. Great beer selection and happy hour deals.

Great service, friendly server, food arrived promptly. We started off with the fried pickles, which were the best I’ve ever had. I ordered their lentil burger, the patty didn’t have much taste, but it had a nice texture and was cooked perfectly. I subbed my fries for onion rings, which also didn’t have much taste. My friend ordered a regular burger (can’t remember the name…had bacon and fried onions on it) she loved it, however her fries were kinda soggy but had a good taste.

Best burger in Bellevue. Not overpriced worth every penny. Carefully crafted burger with real local ingredients. Beer selection is very local and very good. Pretty simple interior but clean and doesn’t interfere with the experience. Even the soup I tried was very good. Rich and hearty and full of flavor. Rings true for everything on the menu.

We love this place! The fresh made lentil burgers are fantastic though really my favorite thing is the pickle chips! Everything is sourced locally and is super fresh. The seating is relaxed and family friendly – they even have fried peanut butter jelly balls!! Make sure you call ahead to make a reservation so you don’t have to wait for a table. It’s not a very large place and fills up fast!

Pros: Absolutely delicious burger cooked perfectly. Seriously, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Wow! And best of all, the meat is from animals who are ethically raised.

This is a quaint little place in old Bellevue. Had I not worked in the city, I never would’ve found it. They don’t have much of an online presence, but their food is absolutely amazing. I’d say it’s the best burger I’ve had in the state! They use only locally sourced ingredients from the NW as well as craft brews and spirits. Do yourself a favor, and give them a try. You won’t regret it!

Excellent service and amazing food! We tried to get served next door at 520 Bar and Grill with our puppy outside. 520 sat us but server never showed. We hopped next door to Local Burger for an amazing late lunch. Burgers, fries, beers, and homemade ranch on point. Do it, go here. Go home happy.
