Really good food, love that it’s from nearby Farms! Really great that you can buy the meat and eggs there too. Potatoes were amazing. They recycle or compost everything they don’t wash. I think they are still working on the ambience, looks a little like farmers market meets cafeteria. Great that you can get a quick glass of local kombucha they have on draft. Price is reasonable for local food, we averaged about $15 per person

I rarely see a restaurant rated this high both on Yelp and Google so I had to try it out. It’s not much to look at, so I’m very grateful for the reviews. After all, all I really care about is the food. I’m unfamiliar with the etiquette of reviewing restaurants, so I will assume that I am comparing those of a similar price range. I had the smoked round steak with fried potatoes and seasonal veggies. The steak was really good, mostly tender and flavorful. The potatoes were simply cubed and deep fried. What’s not to like? The veggies were good and fresh, though I prefer mine cooked longer (softer). Personal preference, I know. I don’t know if they would cook them longer upon request. Overall, I’m glad that I made the trip. I will likely return for a new culinary experience.

Wow! What an amazing find. I think this is my new favorite place to get a weekend lunch / dinner. Amazing service and food. We all LOVED our food. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. The marriage of flavor had been carefully considered and prepared for my bratwurst with sauerkraut and sweet pickle relish. I also had a cup of the creamy broccoli which had fresh cracked pepper inside and was an amazing mix of cheesy and creamy but not too much on either quality.

A little difficult to find because the sign on the road is small. The food is great. Very fresh in fact one of the farmers was there unloading fresh tomatoes. I had the BLT and Jennifer had the pancakes and bacon. Bacon was crisp, plentiful and the pancakes were perfect. Very friendly staff helped us decide. The menu changes but has many choices. I met Rob the owner and he has a great restaurant here. Worth the visit.

What a friendly place. Tony greeted us with a big smile and description of some of the menu items. Prices were very reasonable. Open seating. My grilled cheese on fresh baked bread was excellent. They didn’t scrimp on the amount of cheese or the quality. The chocolate cake with Grenache was delicious. I like that they not only recycle, but also compost. Fun experience.

This is no-frills dining but wow, the food is great. The emphasis is on locally-sourced food put together in creative dishes that showcase the best of what the current season offers in unexpected but delicious combinations.

Interesting main and sides choices, real honest-to-goodness food that tasted great. I had a chicken salad sandwich with sweet corn Mac and cheese, others had fried chicken, stuffed pepper and wagyu beef, fried potatoes. Highly recommend! We are visiting from out of town, but if we lived here, we would definitely return.

The food here was excellent. It was served in cafeteria style trays which I thought was strange, but unique. You could tell everything was fresh and local. It was a bit under seasoned for my taste, but I assume they wanted the freshness of the ingredients to speak for themselves. If you are into nutrition and healthy meals, this is the place for you.

One of our favorite restaurants in west county. After living in the central west end for years, it was hard to find places to eat with fresh, local ingredients without driving 30 minutes. I know others don’t appreciate the simplicity of the decor, we actually feel it adds to the experience because they let the food speak for itself.
