Great unique menu and really delicious food. I had the Banh Mi sandwich and some soup. Both had great flavor, and the portion sizes were solid. It was a bit pricey for a quick lunch, but i definitely feel like i got my money’s worth.

We stopped by here on the way to waipio Valley, I got the Cubano sandwich which was phenomenal, the vinegar flavour of the pickles along with the salty mustard and the flavourful pork belly and ham were just fantastic! One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! It is a tad pricey but the quality and taste very very much make up for this fact, and it’s all localy grown or local food. The owner took our order and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Stop by here, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing food. Everything is fresh, local and perfectly prepared. Some really interesting and delicious recipes. Owner/chef is passionate about the quality of everything and a super guy. Even the beer and wine selection was top notch. Awesome hole in the wall place. If you’re a foodie, put this on your list of stops!

Tasty, and a good menu, but on the pricey side for an order up at the counter establishment. We also had to wait in line behind a customer with a million questions and wanting to sample everything. I’m not really sure if I am mad at the customer only, or also the server for not saying anything as a long line formed behind him. Good to know that they do that and are that generous, but I would never have taken that long with the line behind me. I had the red hotdog, avocado gazpacho soup, and an iced tea and my husband had the poke and a beer. It was all excellent but the total was more than $50, and it was not that much food.

This place is great. They have local beer and make everything in house. Their prices are spot on. Your looking at 13 bucks for a fish sandwich straight out of the ocean. We bought Guac and chips, fish and chips, and two beers for a little over 30 dollars. SCORE!

This is truly a unique place- The sign appears to be made of pastel colored, hand written chalk and, although it does not boast the true nature of the delectable dishes that can be found inside, it parades as a wonderful addition to this already quaint and hidden treasure of a town on the northernmost tip of the big island.

Friendly staff and an original menu featuring local ingredients make this place worth a visit. There were 4 people in my lunch party. We all enjoyed our sandwiches and agreed we would come back if we were in the area.

The food was decent given the more limited options on Big Island, but I was actually expecting better given all the reviews. I had the Rueben, which was on the lower end of the scale vs other Ruebens I’ve had. The homemade cookie was stale, so I don’t think they’re necessarily freshly baked that day.

Wow. the owner came out while we were looking at the menu told us everything is local fresh. he was not exaggerating. everything including the vegetables were definitely fresh. we had the daily special fishwich which was awesome!
