Came from out of town & ordered based off the good reviews. They do cut off their pizza oven @ 9:45, which would be good to have somewhere online. Fried pickles were delicious!!

We like to be out and about during the day. This “Local Option” is a superb one for lunch. The bartender, Deb, is friendly and provides great service. Now, let’s talk about this food!! If you’re a first timer, try the thin crust pizza… it is absolutely the bomb I understand why it’s award winning. Don’t stop at the pizza, however, the pork tenderloin is spectacular. Also, it’s made from scratch like most of the menu. Stop in if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

I placed a to go order, for a stuffed pizza. Cheese and Pepperoni. It takes a good 40 minutes for this to cook up and get ready. I showed at exactly 40 minutes and paid, then pizza was brought out.

This is a great hole-in-the-wall bar. One way we judge these type places is their jalapeño poppers. They were not cheap, frozen ones. Got a deep dish pizza very good. Had hoped on a few different draft beers from Michigan but they had six to eight typical beers…including Yuengling Lager. There’s a pool table, three or four dart machines and a pinball machine. Plenty of TV’s. Service was very good. It was not as busy as I would have guessed but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Menu had many options. If we lived here we’d go once every week or two. Sunken bar area one rarely sees anymore. Definitely has age but I’d imagine a great place to watch a game or just disappear for a couple of hours.

My husband and I stopped in while on vacation and we had great service and oh my goodness the pizza was so good! We got the Hawaiian and added pepperoni and jalapeño and it was honestly one of the best pizzas we’ve had! We would definitely highly recommend this place.
