The best TACOS I have ever had!! The brisket and the shrimp taco are definitely our top picks, but they are all delicious and worth reordering. They usually have a unique taco of the day too which is nice. I do always have one regret when leaving here… not ordering tacos to go.

Had not been back to local taco since its grand opening.. and I’m sad that I missed this goodness for so long. Server was very pleasant and tables were wiped but not necessarily clean. However, the tacos more than made up for that oversight. The place was busy but food came out quickly. Had the nashville hot chicken and blackened grouper tacos, which were delicious. The mixed veggies were piping hot, but I was not overly enthusiastic about all of the onions. Overall I highly recommend trying this place and I will be back.

Wife and I went to a fancy restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Spent $80 and were disappointed, didn’t even finish our food. Afterward, we came went to Local Taco. Spent a bit over $20 and loved it. I really enjoy the Carolina, it’s very tangy and flavorful. My wife loved the Malibu. Her mixed veggies were cooked just right, still a bit of a crunch with good seasoning.

Local Taco is great! They have such a big variety of tacos and side items and their queso is amazing!! Friendly fast service and no wait to get your fresh and hot food! They have indoor and outdoor seating with an open front. If you like tacos then this is your place! Love it!!

Vegetarian salad (easily made vegan) with friendly helpful service. South West salad, I’d recommend you order extra black beans if you want added protein. The rice is cooked in chicken broth so skip it, unless it changed. The trio guac, Salas, queso with fresh toast chips was perfect. The mex-tots were good, though I ate so much could not finish. The bar tender/waiter provided amazing thoughtful service-generous too. Best quick-stop on trip.

This was a great dinner out with friends , place was very clean looking. Everyone in our group loved their food. My husband and I had the blackened grouper taco & Rio Grande taco, both were delicious. We ordered the salsa & chips, very good, the salsa was thick and chunky. Chips were light, crisp and still warm. Our server refilled chips and salsa as needed. Service was very attentive and quick. Would definitely eat there again.

We ordered to-go meals for 12 people and it came with tortillas, chicken, pork, blacl beans, rice, cheese dip, salsa, home made chips and all the fixings, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream etc. We had plenty of food for everyone and even had enough to eat again the second day. We had a whole pan of cheese dip which was plenty and super amazing! We paid $150 dollars and they packaged it all up very nicing in metal sheet pans with lids and a nice large bag with support handles so we could carry everything to the car. I was very impressed so say the least. Oh and I got a To-Go Peach Margarita to drink at home with our meal! It was amazing. The pork was my favorite but the chicken was also amazing. The home made chips were delicious. They also asked if we wanted plates and silverware for our order! It was perfect. Highly recommend this place!

This place far exceeded our expectations. We sat at the bar since all the tables were full on a random Tuesday at lunch. Service was super attentive from the bartender and he knew the answer to every question we had. Food came out fast and the plates were very pretty for both the smoked chicken bowl I ordered and the salad my wife had. Tasty food and reasonable prices. Would come back next time we drive though Bowling Green.
