First time here and for sure won’t be the last. Very welcoming staff the lady behind the counter is the sweetest and so informative. We had the smash burger with queso fries! 10 out 10 cooked perfectly. It’s exactly the kind of burger we have been looking for. The pepper sausage is also very delicious, macaroni is very cheesy and creamy. Honestly we can’t wait to come back and try everything!

Excellent BBQ. We ordered the craft plate (think sampler and only $28). Came with pulled pork, pork belly, turkey & brisket. Included 3 sides ( we went with Mac & cheese, cream corn and french fries). More than enough for two people.

What a great hidden jem of a BBQ place. Food was outstanding had a three meat plate. Ribs, brisket and chicken breast. The potato salad and Mac and cheese was excellent as well. Sorry for the picture but looked so good I couldn’t wait to eat it.

THE BEST, yes THE BEST Texas BBQ you will find in the area. The small town of Newark definitely has a gem on their hands.Made the trip from dfw and will be coming for more! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Willing to explain any menu item you had questions about. We enjoyed the MAC ATTACK with chopped brisket, Texas Brisket Philly, peach cobbler and banana pudding.

True TX BBQ – will definitely be back! Every single item was delicious & on-point. Brisket was perfect, and the OMG sandwich (name says it all-sausage & brisket combo on jalapeno roll). Looking forward to sampling tacos (Thursdays) and burnt ends (Saturdays) on future visits. We live about 40 min. away, but was worth the drive. Friendly employees & fun atmosphere, too.

Really good bbq and the smash burgers are a great addition, they do make them from the brisket trimmings so be prepared to get a bit of “gristle” in the meat which is expected when you use brisket trimmings. Either way they are delicious and a good way to use the trimmings!! Also free beer on the Saturdays I have been!!!

Fanfreakingtastic. This is a hidden gem tucked away in Newark. Biscuit was flavorful and moist. Mac was cheesey! Seriously the cue is excellent and right up there with the “big” names of craft BBQ in FTW.
