We had heard from someone that this was her favorite restaurant so we couldn’t wait to try it. We sat at the bar while waiting for our friends to arrive…just missed the Happy Hour from 4:00 – 6:30 pm. I ordered a nice Pinot Noir (Cycles Gladiator) – $8 for 6 oz, $12 for 9 oz. For starters my husband and I shared a Caesar Salad – $8.95 which was delicious, for dinner we both ordered the tasty Chicken Piccata for $22 which comes with potatoes and a vegetable; one friend ordered the Veal Chop special for $42 and our other friend ordered Eggplant Parm which is on the menu as an appetizer. When she inquired with our server if she could get this an a main course, he said sure. When hers arrived, it was definitely appetizer size and I think she was charged $21…very disappointing. Now here’s the reason for my 3-star review – our server. The restaurant was only half full at 9:00 pm yet our server came over 3-4 times clearing off our table while we chatted after dinner and stood nearby waiting for us to leave. It was really rude! There was also a strange odor in the place – don’t know if it was burnt food or what. Bottom line: food was good…ambiance not good. Wanted to like this place but won’t be back.

Two people, bill $130+ not worth it, the veal milanesa was hard as a rock way over fried, 4 shrimp over spinach $32 this on a Monday night. Save your money go somewhere else.

Delicious. Italian. Food. Thank you Claudio and Alfredo. The grilled octopus was perfect, as was the rest of the meal!

Went to Locanda Rustica for a fundraising event. Gave me a chance to see the atmosphere and taste some of the food. I loved the look of the place. Rich, dark wood tones. We had pizza, one of my favorite dishes, and it was good. I think I found a place for date night with hubby.

Please read reviews on Yelp, where this restaurant has 3.5 stars. I think that rating is more accurate. Good service, decent food, but overpriced for what you get. Typical entree prices are $20 – $30, but we ordered the Osso Bucco special and saw on the bill that it was $45.00! Nothing about this restaurant justifies charging that much for a dish. If I go back it will be for their happy hour, which I hear is reasonably priced.

We’ve been here numerous times before and have always loved the food and the wines and cocktails, and had great service. Tonight the service was great, Mt cocktail was perfect, but the food was third-rate. My salmon was not grilled as ordered, it was soggy, over cooked and mushy. The side of mashed potato and vegetables was lukewarm and vegetables actually tasted spoiled. Very disappointing.

Fantastic Food, wonderful service, clean and beautiful atmosphere! The owner greets you at the door, visits each table and even lends a hand clearing a table as needed! Celebrating my parents 52 wedding anniversary we couldn’t ask for a better evening!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars

Excellent, no-nonsense Italian restaurant. The kitchen does a great job with all the classics. The veal was delicate & delicious. My father had an amazing Osso Buco special. The wine was very reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

Good selection of classic Italian dishes. Plenty of pasta options including a gluten free penne. Chicken and veal options galore: francese, parmigiana, etc. Lots to offer for fish as well.
