We arrived from Canada to Palmyra and decided to eat here what a mistake. The food was mediocre at best but the person working and the other patrons were absolutely rude and insulting to us. Speaking loud enough for us to hear them. I will never recommend this place and have never been so insulted in my life.

Cool bar, but the bartender was a miserable person to say the least. My wife and I were basically the only ones in the bar (2 others), and it was like he was doing us a favor to get us a round when we ordered. You would think when the place is dead quiet, nobody there, you would want to be friendly to patrons so they spend more. He just hated his job and life clearly.

If I could give negative stars I would. Female bar tender rudely and impatiently clapped in my face because I took half a second to order a drink. I’ll never return and be sure to let many people know to do the same.

Experience started off well both times we have gone here but the bar tender/waitress (same person each time) has caused uncomfortable situations both experiences we have had due to her attitude and unwanted/un-called for responses (“you can take your chips and go now” & “you are in the wrong place” ). I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are looking for a confrontation. We will not be coming back.

I’m a local so I enjoy being able to get really good hamburgers locally. Absolutely think they’re better than five guys which is highly thought of. There’s a great thing called Evie sauce that makes the burgers taste great. It takes time to make really good food and everything is fresh. So if you have time to relax stop off at lock 29 Tavern.
