Haven’t been to a Loco Moco drive in for a long time. Used to frequent the Windward side location. Tried the Waipio location. Small but friendly an they still have the best lemon chicken.

Went here during the stay at home order with a friend to pick up food for the faimly. We order a lot of food and the girl behind the counter that day got all of it down in one go, color me impressed. It didn’t take long for the cooks to get right on it. Foos came out nice and neat with everything labeled. As for the food itself, very good would go again.

TERRIBLE! Worst experience I ever had a restaurant. I walked in and it was awfully quiet and EMPTY which to me was a sign that the place is bad and I was right. I was hoping to be wrong but the cashier did not welcome us! She was boring and I turned around saw one of the employees sleeping. I told them I wanted my egg to be well done and it wasn’t! While I was eating with my siblings, I saw all of the employees eating THEIR OWN FOOD they made after they served us and they ate it outside at the tables for customers….well customers they didn’t have cause my siblings and I were their only customers. But that was VERY unprofessional! On top of that…the food was tasteless, disgusting, and expensive for no reason. We were all so disappointed. First and LAST! Place should shut down ♀️

Very disappointed. I go to the kapolei one all the time and it’s really good. Decided to give the waipio one a try. Ordered the garlic chicken and mahi mahi. The garlic chicken was overcooked and no flavor. The mahi mahi is not mahi mahi. It is either tilapia or swai. Absolutely terrible.

Went here for some lunch with the hubby. He ordered the bento surf pack and I had the chicken katsu curry. Both of us were a little disappointed with the taste of our food. A little on the bland side. We also had to wait for a while for our food to come out, even though there was no one ahead of us. Also, watched this guy order saimin after us and send it back because there was no taste at all according to him.
