The tacos were amazing. Lots of fresh toppings to add. Highly recommend trying the pineapple habanero salsa. Hot but delicious! Prices are good and portions are big. We’ll be back for sure.

I was in the area, and I visited Loco Taco for the first time for lunch. I had a Wet Beef Burrito and a medium sized Nachos that cost about $20. I have to say, I really didn’t like it. They both were very bland, the textures were mush, and it was not very appetizing. The burrito having the wet burrito sauce gave it a bit more flavor complexity than the Nachos, but both were very bland and boring. There wasn’t much differentiating the meat, beans, and cheese in flavor other than salt. The textures were just mushy and blended. The Nachos had a full cup or more of juicy watery substance that spilled in the car and I had to pour off into the parking lot. There are so many other good Mexican food options in the GR area, I would just warn you off from this choice.

Ordered a 12″ burrito only double beef and cheese with Pico and got a burrito with beans and rice in it. I’m not against beans and rice in a burrito but I was the only customer on the property and they still didn’t get my order correct. I also ordered a few steak tacos that had the correct toppings but the meat was more of a shredded roast than steak. The service was good but again I was the only customer on the entire property so it’s hard to really judge that part…

I can only speak to the tacos here but they are very authentic. The corn shells were nicely fried and steamed. They held up well and tasted delish. Shredded pork, steak and chicken proteins were nicely seasoned and slow cooked. I went traditional Mexican style with onion, cilantro and lime, but they have a ton of other options of toppings. Verde and Roja sauces were excellent

I am very disappointed in the food for the price. Had people sitting by us that ordered the nacho cheese. It came in a little cup for $3.00. They said it was so awful that they threw it away. Didn’t even eat it.

Sit down Quality quickly and build your own way! The staff was very helpful and had so many choices to make many types of Mexican dishes decorated/created your way. Phenomenal! The restaurant was also VERY CLEAN! Burritos had different sizes, or you could do a combo. Be patient your first time in and dont become overwhelmed (as there are many choices).
