So in Lake Wales and hubby wanted Mexican but I eat low carb. Sound familiar? Well we found this little hidden gem! Well not hidden but new so wanted to give them a shout out. Tacos, burritos, bowls made to order with fresh ingredients (even smoked brisket and Nashville chicken) and amazing taste. Easy to find on SR 60 next to Brake Burger Garage, which makes sense as both are owned by local restauranteurs from Crazy Fish and Old Harry’s Restaurant is clean and cute definitely giving a local vibe and not a chain. If you haven’t tried them yet you’re missing out. Love Lake Wales is drawing new restaurants and they’re good! #visitcentralflorida #lakewalesenvisioned

I ordered the Brisket Nachos and my husband got 3 Loco style tacos, 1 chicken, 1 ground beef and 1 smoked pork. Everything was bursting with flavor, the atmosphere is bright and cheerful, very clean, service was excellent. Definitely going to be a regular stop for me when in Lake Wales!!

The chicken tacos were good, definitely not worth $11 though. We ordered the Brisket Birria Tacos with no lions and they loaded onions down on it. We were also rushed while ordering our food. It would help if they would update their menu with what’s included in the food. Lots of employees there but only 2 were behind the counter helping. Lots of improvements needed.

Price doesn’t justify the portions on bowls. Barely any rice two little scoops and if you get pico good luck if you get more than a quarter of a spoon. They put it in a box not a bowl, the food looks like it takes maybe half of the box in room. The employees looked like they were scared to even attempt to give you more rice or anything more than a quarter spoon or half. I would rather drive 20 minutes to chipotle and get more food even though they’re not great either but at least you get a little more for the same price I paid for 3 bowls $36 was too much for the little food we got. In a small town like Lake Wales and in the location they’re in doesn’t justify the cost or stinginess of the portions. Service was good but portions were not.

They advertise on their site that they have burritos, but no they don’t. We had to get tacos instead and we should have just gone to Taco Bell instead. NOT impressed! Nothing authentic about this place. Instead of calling it Locorrito … just call it Loco!

The food was great! Gives plenty of food to eat definitely filling got two burrito bowl but wasn’t expecting the price. ($25) I don’t think it’s worth $25 for two bowls especially with the basic toppings. Over all great and clean place! It does need more food and drink options Especially like Flan or tres leche for more experience.
