Good food, good service, good beer. What more needs to be said? Came for lunch with grandkids. They can be “picky” eaters but they ate their burgers and fries like the place was on fire! Didn’t need doggie bags this time! We ate and were full! Delicious food! Will come back.

We recently had dinner here on the outside patio on a weeknight. The patio setting was delightful , unfortunately the food and service did not measure up. Even though it did not appear busy, it took almost 20 minutes for the waitress to get our order. We ordered cheese curds as appetizer, however, they came out with the meal which took almost an hour to arrive. The cheese curds were tasty, however, our meals were lukewarm at best and missing some ingredients. When we asked the waitress about it she said they had run out of some things. Wish we had been told this in advance as we would have changed our side orders. The waitress did comp out one of our items due to the issues which was appreciated. Have eaten here before and the service was top notch and food great. This experience was completely the opposite. May give it another try but it won’t be anytime soon.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when we stopped in but WOW. Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in years between the quality of the beef and the flavor, I was speechless. And the cheese curds are sooo good.

Been five years since eating here. The name has changed. They added several large tvs, most on the same channel, need to mix them up some. Had rueben and was excellent, German potato salad good with bacon and cheese. $2 upcharge, although misseds it on the menu. Wife’s grilled 5 cheese sandwich was just ok. French fries pretty normal. Server was very friendly and prompt. One item for improvement is paper on plastic basket underneath the rueben got soggy and tore easily. electronic payment method convenient and no upcharge for credit card usage. Tipping options lowest was 18%, whatever happened to 15% for good service. Can use custom tip option which I did. Tables placed close together. Many beer choices. Overall,recommend this place for lunch.

4/5 out of the 5 of us dining have worked in the bar or food industry. Drinks took about 15 minutes to get. We were ordering off the specialty menu for our cocktails. But still…we ordered the cheese curds which came out quick and were what we expected. They were the best! The server was not attentive to our table. It took about an hour to get our food and they were not that busy. A table that sat down after us got their food before we did. The server did admit it took longer to get our food. The fries wer cold when the food finally came. Fish sandwich bottom was soggy in the bottom as you could tell it was sitting under the heat light since the top was crispy and warm. The waitresses were not happy we complained and gave us dirty looks. We were only offered one drink in 50 minutes. We never received a paper copy of our checks. The waitress called out our totals since we had three different tabs for our table. Thought that was strange. She said she could give us paper copies if we really needed them. Overall feeling. They didn’t care the food was substandard and took forever to be served. No apologies or offers! Will probably never go back.

After hiking at Starved Rock State Park, three of us stopped here for a late lunch (Friday, 1pm). There were about two dozen beers on tap with a wide selection from local Illinois brewers (yay!), and we sampled a few. We ordered the beer battered cheese curds for an appetizer–they were probably the best cheese curds ive ever had. I could’ve eaten just those and left happy. Our mains were the crispy chicken sandwich, fish snd chips, and chicken wrap. I had the chicken sandwich–it was a tad dry on the edges but still good. Our son loved the chicken wrap–it was a very generous size and they were happy to leave out the onion. My hubs liked the fish–I tried it and the outside was light snd crispy and the inside nice and tender. The tartar sauce was yummy (I can’t abide store-bought). Our server was busy but friendly and accommodating. We read the ratings and it seems their burgers are what people come here for…so we’ll be back next time we’re in the area.

Huge pretzel, large portions, homemade honey mustard (so good), guess tastes fresh and were the perfect mix of crunchy and chewy. They had a fantastic beer selection, literally something for everyone.

The server was extra sweet. The Burger was simply delicious! I love that they have delicious gluten free buns. Such a great experience. When we are back in the area we will definitely be back. The choice of beverages are endless. I love this place.
