A solid 4/5. Nothing mind blowing, but a very serviceable Jewish deli in the middle of downtown. Get a half (or whole) tongue sandwich, a side of chopped liver, and a cup of matzo ball soup

Don’t go anywhere but here for breakfast. Fried potatoes like mom used to make. Don’t skimp on lunch either the steak and cheese with fries is the bomb! Lots more to offer than that. Wished I could eat there everyday!!!

Solid NY style deli with attitude. Menu over the counter, not online or printed, so till your head back and pick something out. Order at the counter and wait a few minutes. If you eat in, someone will try to find you with your food. $15 for a sandwich, but that’s pretty much the going price in the city for lunch. Hot fries add another $3. What’s not to love.

So glad this place exists. Best Steak and Cheese hands down. My sister introduced this place to me. I love their breakfast food as well. Please don’t sleep on this place.

Food quality was so-so. Disorganized system for ordering/pickup. Customer service wasn’t bad. All in all, it will do for lunch but certainly wasn’t worth $21 for mediocre food.

I love, love, love Loeb’s Deli! Marlene and her staff were so good to me for the ten (10) years that I supported Judge Sporkin in DC!

Loeb’s has been around forever and is always packed at lunchtime– at their location, you know that means they’re doing something right. Personally I recommend any of their deli sandwiches. Their Maryland Crab Soup is also surprisingly solid for a counter service place.

Closest to NYC you’ll find in DC. Real bagels, real matzo soup, and great sandwiches. There’s a reason it’s stayed in business this long – consistent and good service.

I just ate the most amazing sandwich. In fact it was the best sandwich I have eaten in my entire 48 years on this planet. The owners were also great. So friendly. I wish I would have found Loeb’s on my first day in town. I would have been here trying something new everyday! I would certainly count this deli among one of our national treasures!
