I was told that when you are in Iowa you have to try a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. This one did not disappointment! The loin was bigger than the bun and made from quality pork. A bonus was the cold beer and friendly waitress.

Good atmosphere, clean, variety of beer and drinks. Kitchen open till 10p.m. Food special every night. We hit Mexican Monday. Their beef tacos were delicious. Generous portions….I ordered two but could only eat one. The bartender was on the ball with a great personality. Definitely go there again.

The food consists of bar and comfort food mostly. My wife and I thought it was pretty good, and the portions are quite generous. I did feel my burger and her sandwich were rather greasy. It was the “heavy” greasy feeling, so neither of us were able to eat much before our stomachs were upset. Our waitress was great, and very attentive.

So far everything is top flight! We always love smaller places the best!! This qualifies. Great service. Great food as well. Wow is the best words for everything! Then we got the bill! Came back to edit in a five star rating! I had the hand breaded pork tenderloin sandwich and my wife had the Italian beef. We both loved and shared our sandwiches with eacn other. Mark the place on Google maps for a return visit sometime.

Great staff friendly atmosphere, GREAT FOOD. These are large burgers that are so big I have trouble getting the whole thing down. Loved the Rib Eye meal both times I had it at $16.99 beats many places I have ordered it.

Great friendly staff and owners. Food is always outstanding. If I could give ten stars I would when I come to visit family that the first place I want to go to eat. I have never had bad meal. I usually get tenderloin because NO in Minnesota Know how to make a good one. Keep up the great job… If your in the area you have to stop.

Had the bbq chicken Sunday special. Wonderful. I would order it again if I lived here. Excellent cooks in that kitchen. Fantastic service staff out front. I sat at the bar. They knew most of the people who came up to order something by name, and knew most of what they wanted to order. A wonderful local crowd, most of who were there to play a Trivia gamed hosted by an employee at the library on the last Sunday of the month. A great roadside experience for my visit to Iowa. I would recommend the Loess Moose to anyone.
